It was good to see Janet and all the other residents entertained by Irish singer. So nice! Janet mentioned being treated with a delicious Shamrock Shake! Thank you Staff, Activity members and all Nurses for doing all you do in your caring ways! 💓☀️

My husband was in this awful place for less than 24 hrs before fue to a drastic change in his.pneumonia he had to go back to the hospital. In the first4 hours he was there he was basically ignored! A few days after he was discharged I received a call that a large amount of his possessions needed to be picked up,I was very confused by this as I was positive I had taken everything. A few days later my daughter went to the facility to collect his alleged things.When she arrived no one was at the reception desk after waiting for about10 minutes a staff member who was obviously on her way out helped my daughter by giving her a large bag of clothes this staff member didn't check the items to make sure they were my husbands, A short time later my daughter opened up the bag and on top of the clothes she found a folder that had a patients name,SS#, date of birth and other medical information, this is a HUGE HIPPA VIOLATION!!! My daughter immediately turned in a complaint to the appropriate agency,she emailed Kensington care(twice) and never received the courtesy of a response!!!! After this experience with Kensington I wouldn't send my dog there!!!! I'll bet I won't get a response from them regarding this review!

Although sometimes when I taker to my husband in the phone, he complained about not getting the car he needs. How've, I told him to make sure he tells his nurse about it. He has been forgetful, and he forgets to ask or say to his nurse how he felt during the night before or the same day. For example when I talked to him on Wednesday, Jan 28, he told me his BiPap machine stopped working. So, the following day, Thursday, when my our son and I visited, i was able to talk to the head nurse of his unit about the BiPap. She instructed me what I needed to do. Thank you for your help! Hence, Kensington Care takes good care of my husban despite how my husband felt.

Kensington Care and Rehab has a welcoming atmosphere and wonderful staff! Newly renovated with fresh paint and new floors! Everyone treats everyone as if they are family. Each department works hard to meet the needs of the resident and their family. Concerns are addressed immediately and taken serious. Every day has different activities for the residents to enjoy! I recommend Kensington Care and Rehab for rehab and or long term care for yourself or a loved one! It’s a great experience, come and enjoy!

Its difficult losing your Mom… knowing her passing is approaching puts everyone in a place you don't know how to deal with. I was disappointed with the condition of the room, and the “she can wait” attitude of some “care”givers. Her food was good ( new chef)! But there is a core of incredible women and men… who were there for her… and me. It took a team to help her through those last ugly hours… and sometimes that meant me walking down to the desk to ask. It wasn’t what i felt i should have done, but it was my responsibility to help Mom. The incredible, knowledgeable, compassionate caregivers gave more than a little… they gave from their hearts, and thats what you want as you wait and cry. I now understand, know that this process is a team effort, and kind words will create that atmosphere needed to say “good-bye”. my Mom was blessed to have a roommate full of love and a team, driven by one powerful, caring woman! (T) who spends hours of overtime with her patients and took care of Mom and her family No, i wasn't 100% happy… but i found a way for my Mom. And in the end, that was important. Praise the Lord for those who really care. They DO work here❣️
