Basically I received good, compassionate care at Harrington court. There were times when staff seemed hard pressed to fulfill their multitude of care tasks but they worked hard to get everything done. Sometimes and shifts were better than others but in the end all went well.

I'm being extremely generous giving this facility a 2 star rating. A family member of mine was brought to this facility 2 days before Memorial day. My family member arrived in the evening. The next morning 2 other family members and myself went to visit. The family member never received breakfast and lunch was served to the family member after 1:00pm. My family member wasn't cleaned or offered to brush their hair or teeth. It got worse from this 1st experience. To make this short. The last straw was when my family member was an hour late for a doctor's appointment and they blamed the transportation. We paid for the transportation to and from the appointment. Let's just say my family member didn't return to this facility. We called the facility and told them that my family member wasn't returning and we were told we were going to be reported to authorities because we didn't sign them out. We are paying the facility to take care of our family member. So I look at it as the facility is my worker and I'm the boss. So go ahead and report your boss because your boss is firing you. The staff were extremely lazy and were only there for a paycheck. Only 2 employees went above and beyond. NO, I don't recommend this facility.

Small facility but not the worst place for short term. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. The rehab department was excellent working with my family member. My mom will miss going to the gym to work and laugh with Anthony, Amanda and Ajay. The nurses are pretty unorganized and don’t really know what’s going on half the time but the CNAs really try despite that.

If you must send a loved one to Harrington Court, please be very diligent. Keep a close eye on your family member. Complete Care used to have a 5 star rating and now they have a 3. Communication is poor. The Director and Director of nursing are very hands off and do not respond well enough or fast enough to concerns. There is a case manager who is a good ally but she is very overworked. Support staff like receptionists , aides, food staff and some of the nursing are great. Both of my parents were in this facility x 3 months inly because Norwichtown Rehab didnt have a bed when my Mom got out of the hospital. This facility spilled scalding hot coffee on my father in bed and didnt respond fast enough. He suffered 2nd degree burns and it took 2 months to heal. Also convinced physical therapy didnt push enough while performing their duties. As stated above, if your family member does go here, watch over this staff like a hawk. Also if they offer a 30 day medication supply upon your family members departure, id recommend you not do it. Currently it comes from a small independent pharmacy, Quick Mart Pharmacy in NJ. Another disaster associated with CC at HC.

Reason for my rating is location & most staff. Food wasnt always best but the staff that make it and deliver it are great! Some updating in some areas needs attention equipment or furniture ect. But overall the care for my mom is what counts! It takes a special kind of person to work with senior people who need all levels of care at all times of day/night to work here. I dont believe these workers are really truly appreciated enough.The staff i have met have been polite, friendly, helpful, patient, nurturing individuals who deserve more. There definitely should be more of them but those who show up every day to do this type of job should be appreciated! The PT staff, the nursing staff, the social worker, the Aids, the housekeepers, laundry staff, PCTs, administration, meds distribution staff, the billing staff, the reception staff... all of them are great. - thank you
