The staff at Glendale Care and Rehab have shown kindness, competence and good judgement in their care of a friend who required an acute care setting. I’ve been overseeing care of a friend, Jeanie J, who I’ve known since I was six. As Jeanie’s needs increased and her condition declined, she needed greater care. After living in three other assisted care facilities over the last three and a half years, it was necessary to move her to acute care at Glendale Care and Rehab. Until her passing, I was at the facility two to three times a week. I got to know many of the staff and I liked everyone I met. The common thread I experienced was compassion and empathy. I never felt brushed off when I had an issue or request. I felt there was focus and a connection when talking to any of the staff. How many facilities have you been to where the executive director has his office door open and looks up from his desk to see if you need anything when you stand at the door. Evan Kinney is that kind of director. From the time you walk in and are greeted by Hattie D., the personable receptionist, to the time you meet with various staff, you feel welcomed. I dealt with the nursing staff, business office manager, social services, scheduling for off-site medical appointments and individual care takers on Jeanie’s unit. They were all were great. Glendale Care and Rehab has an in-house physical and occupational therapy service. Jeanie worked with each PT and OT staff member. Her condition was serious and challenging. Jeanie spoke highly of them all. Thank you, Dan, Max, Amy, Kim and LeeAnn. Your patience was appreciated. One other thing I’d like to mention that I like is the natural light. The building has a lot of skylights and wide halls. You don’t feel as closed in as other places. I feel the natural light makes a difference. Thank you, Michael Hapka

I really appreciate the care that I got here. The people and care I got were excellent. The physical therapy and occupational therapy were excellent. The leadership under Evan is phenomenal. I was treated with love and dignity and respect at all times. I am glad to go home but I will miss y'all. If I have to come back I will come here.

My 75 year old mother had a critical episode October 2025 and another December. Her medical team assigned her to this Glendale facility to help manage her Diabetes and overall care, as it couldn't be safely managed in her home. I want to thank her CNAs, Evan the Administrator, everyone......you helped her tremendously. She is now living in TN and thriving! Even having outings to movies etc...😃 Wouldn't be possible if Glendale Care hadn't taken excellent care of my Mommy. Thank , Thank you!! ❤️❤️❤️ The staff really cares. 🙏🏽🌸

It's been good as far as being taken care of like a few days and month, but any time more than a couple of weeks can be a big problem if you can't take care of yourself at least for a little while each day! If this is being seen by the people who work here every day, GOOD!!! You are setting us in here, up!!!
