This facility gives very poor care. Treatment's not completed timely according to Dr's orders causing delayed healing and complications with surgery sight. Medication not passed according to Dr's orders on many occasions. Call lights not answered timely and sometimes not at all. Observed CNA's telling residents the food was not good and they probably would not want to eat it. Neather resident in the room would eat the meals. A meeting with the administrator was requested who stated she did not deal In Pt care she would send the DON who sent the Unit manager. I feel sorry for the residents in this facility. The facility also had a out break of Covid which I got while visiting. The staff did not follow Covid protocols or proper infection control procedures. Thank God my love one is no longer in this facility.

My 88 year old mother stayed at this facility for two months for physical therapy rehabilitation. While the building itself is a bit outdated, overall the staff took good care of her. I visited daily to check on her, and her bed and clothing were changed every day. She was never left sitting in a soiled diaper for long periods, and she came home without any bedsores, which was very reassuring. The facility was cleaned in the morning and at night; however, I do wish they cleaned more frequently throughout the day, as there were times when odors were noticeable. I want to especially recognize some outstanding staff members. Aretha at the front desk was amazing. Kim, the RN, was exceptional. Kim truly cares about her patients and makes an effort to engage with family members. Melinda, the CNA, provided excellent care for my mother; my mom would light up whenever she saw her. Melissa, the social worker, was also very kind and communicated clearly and consistently. With some remodeling and updates to the facility, this could easily become a top-tier skilled nursing facility center.

I can’t say enough good things about Kim the administrator. Her leadership, compassion, and professionalism truly set the tone for the entire facility. Kim is always approachable, responsive, and genuinely cares about both residents and families. It’s clear she runs the facility with integrity and high standards, and it shows in the quality of care provided by the staff.

I can't say enough good things about Community Care Center in Plant City. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. They treated my loved one with genuine kindness, respect, and dignity every step of the way. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a comfortable, home-like feel. The nurses and caregivers go above and beyond to ensure residents are not only well cared for medically but also emotionally supported. Communication with the family was excellent—we were always kept informed and felt included in the care. If you're looking for a facility that combines professionalism with heartfelt care, I highly recommend Community Care Center. It gave us peace of mind knowing our family member was in such good hands.
