We have been using Comfort Keepers Sarasota for over a year as supplemental care for my father. The caregivers have been great especially Bob and Anita. My father really enjoys their company. Also, a shout out to Brandy who picked my father up from LWR ER when I could not get there.

I met with the owner and general manager of Comfort Keepers. He was pleasant and expressed confidence that he would be able to find a caregiver for my mom who has severe dementia. The next week they told me they found a caregiver that they thought would be a very good match, and that I just had to sign a contract to be able to interview her. In the contract they wanted to charge me $250 that would not be refunded (he specifically told me on our initial visit that there were no fees attached), and that the company had the right to send any replacement if the assigned caregiver could not maker her shift. I asked if they could amend the contract to waive the fee. They said that would not be a problem. It took them 3 days to amend the contract, then sent a docusign that would not open. It was then resent , and I signed. Later that day, and this is more than 2 weeks after our initial meeting, they phoned me and told me that they didn't feel that they would be a good fit for us. No other explanation, and I have lost 2 weeks that could have been spent looking for another caregiver, and my mom has been without necessary help. Be very wary of the promises that this company makes, I would definitely NOT recommend !

I cannot say enough kind words about Comfort Keepers Sarasota, from ownership, management, to the fabulous team of caregivers we have had the experience with~ simply wonderful. When caring for an elderly parent, there are so many challenges and obstacles to get through. It’s quite stressful. Working with the team at Comfort Keepers has given us peace of mind and confidence in the care given daily to our beloved parent. They make her life easier and in turn ours. Selecting the right care is a difficult task for family members, but if you are reading this and considering this company, you will not regret your decision. Thank you to all of the kind hearts working with our family. You have brought us great relief and “comfort” in knowing we are all in good hands.

We found Comfort Keepers during a difficult transition with my mom due to long time physical disability and progression of memory decline. It was a very emotional, vulnerable time making the decision that my very once independent mom was at a point of needing additional care and supervision for her safety and support. They have been the best thing, I never knew we needed! The comfort, support and TLC they have been providing my mom from the start to current day and peace of mind they have provided myself and my family. The guilt of not being able to be there and support my mom has weighed heavy on my heart, and Comfort Keepers has been just being a blessing! Each caregiver, I have met individually and all amazing and cannot forget Lindsey who has gone above and beyond for our family and ensuring all our needs are mets and truly cares about our experience ! Thank you!! Highly recommend!
