The company cannot keep aids in the year and half we had different ones. The first aid was sweet and cared about her job we had for a few months, but moved on hated to see her leave. After that was down hill some came in with no experience with any dementia patients. They would let him sleep most of there shift and play on phone. My one aid in November was rude to my husband when taking him to toilet he wasn't able to put his pants on or off to change his pull up.One afternoon was home heard her keep telling put your pants on over and over come on get them on,I went in and did it for him Told her you cannot not keep yelling at him to put his pants on and need to do it for him. Her comment to me was you spoil him and Im not going to. I should have asked her leave that moment looking back he was scared of her but thought was just someone new till I asked her to start washing her hands upon arrival and use wipe on her phone .she grabbed the wipes out of my hand in a ruff way stormed off to the bathroom and slammed the door. When she came out she said I wash my hands in the car before I come in,I said please wash in the house. So long story short I had to leave for appt came back to her not wanting to speak to me even left 10 min early so she was still mad. I called company not to send her ever back to my house this is was he was scared of her so if family memeber shows you signs something isnt right even with dementia something is going on.Month before that had called the boss to tell them she was marking that she showered him brushed teeth etc.that aid wasn't doing because I would always have done so they could visit with him and do activities. The comment I got was thats not how we are paid thur VA ,I still told boss of company still marking things in chart that isnt being done by her is false reports. So for the month she kept marking she did the stuff so that was not addressed with the aid.so watch your loved ones they are in your home alone and if something doesn't seem right more then likely isnt. I did change companies and so far going very good.

The past several years have been quite a challenge and the wonderful team of caregivers at Comfort Keepers are the reason my father was able to return home following a major medical issue. Tiffany and her fellow caregivers take care of Dad like he is their own father. I love that they are always professional, communicative and at the ready - regardless of the challenge - all while making Dad feel safe, heard and appreciated. Aging rarely is a carefree process, and there are times when we can not do it on our own. It is easy to feel helpless and hopeless in the face of declining health, medical issues and mobility limitations. My family is extremely grateful that Comfort Keepers have been here to help. I don’t think we could do it without them.

Comfort Keepers have taken care of my 86-year old mother twice in the last year, and both times their care was fantastic. From the most mundane to the dirtiest of jobs, they do their work cheerfully, efficiently, and with love and respect. If you have an elderly family member that requires in-home care that you cannot do yourself, please contact Comfort Keepers, they are angels walking the earth.

I highly recommend utilizing this agency, as they do an excellent job at meeting their clients needs. Comfort Keepers isn't afraid to take on the most challenging of clients and has proven to have that "special touch" in connecting with the elderly and their families. Keep up the amazing work. You truly are an asset to the community! And a special thank you to Josee! You are a remarkable care giver to say the least!

Deb S. has been the caregiver for my wife Nancy's mom for a few years now, beginning just a few hours a week and able to move to 40 when the need became evident. A couple of other caregivers were tried out before the family found the perfect match for her in Deb. Not only her skills and reliability, but her personality and attitude have been key to keeping Mom in her own home where she wanted to be. We both appreciate Deb tremendously. Her presence in the house has had a very positive effect on both the physical and mental health of Nancy's Mom.
