My Dad died unexpectedly in October and now I’m the primary caregiver of my Mom. I realized that I needed help with being able to have the time to take care of financial, practical and family issues, or if I just needed a break. My Mom is elderly and has cognitive disabilities. I contacted Comfort Keepers and have been very happy with who they sent! She is wonderful with my Mom and my Mom is sometimes hard to please! We started with twice a week for 4 hours, but have since gone to three times. This service has been a lifesaver for both my Mom and I. Highly recommend!!

Comfort Keepers provided nighttime respite care for our family when we had finally reached our capacity of exhaustion. We called a couple of companies, and none were as responsive and CKs. Bridget responded immediately, made several follow up calls as we navigated our needs, was a compassionate listener who personally met with us, and turned our needs into a care plan. While CKs was unable to keep the same caregiver every night, they sent professional, helpful, kind caregivers. This is a difficult decision to make for a loved one as caregivers start out as complete strangers in the home, but we came to know them almost immediately and felt confident that they were the right choices from the beginning. There were only 1 or two instances (weekend nights), where we felt the caregiver was not of the same caliber as the two caregivers who came during the week, but overall, we would recommend CK to anyone looking for non-medical caregiving for their loved ones. We are currently considering having daytime help for day-to-day needs, and CK is our go to choice!

I was in an emergency situation needing immediate care for a loved one and Comfort Keepers sprang into action. They were thorough. They toured the home and made excellent suggestions. Their caregivers were professional and compassionate. I highly recommend them!

Comfort Keepers provided caring and compassionate service to both of my parents, and after my mother’s passing they continued to give my father great care. They were at their best when they sent regular staff members who knew my father and knew exactly what his care routine was. They were not always able to send the regulars, as we needed their help at night and on weekends and holidays. Those instances were rare, but sometimes those situations were not great. As my father is approaching 100, his needs became more and more medical. Comfort Keepers offers companions who help with day to day life, but my father reached a point where I had to put him in a nursing home, as they could not administer his insulin. For the majority of the time, they were a reliable source of comfort to me, knowing that my father was in good hands.

I learned about Comfort Keepers through a friend. They had a wonderful experience and highly recommended we use them. I have to say, they were right. The process was straight forward and clearly explained. Very professional, caring and courteous at all times. My family could not be happier with the staff. Very highly recommend looking into Comfort Keepers if you are in need of home healthcare services. You will not be disappointed.
