Nice property, nice rooms, nice amenities (salon, movie theater, ice cream bar, game room, TV room). Depending on your pallet, the food quality might not be where you need it to be.

My husband and I have started to think about what our next steps in life will be. We contacted Christian at Colonial Gardens for a tour. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were home! Christian was amazing. He arranged for us to visit one of the cottages as well as a couple of apartments inside the main facility. We immediately became interested in possibly making this our home. Christian has gone over and above for us. We still have to sell our home to be ready for this big change in our lives, but we are hopeful that soon we will be able to be a part of this fantastic community! I visited this distinguished site a month ago and had a very thorough tour of the facility. the things that stand out to me are:<br>1. The friendly vibe from everyone: The residents, the employees and the management.<br>2. The quality of the building, the furniture, the cleanliness of the entire facility inside, and out.<br>3.The variety of things to use for personal activities like the video theater, the game/pool room, the chapel and outdoor fire pits, paths, lush landscapes, scheduled activities etc., etc.,.<br><br>It appears to be a delightful environment to live and grow old.

While looking for independent living arrangement for my parents, we visited and toured Colonial Gardens. The facility and grounds are beautiful and provide a great balance between being small enough to feel like you are not lost on the grounds to large enough to provide ample space. Having the ability to have a garage (with storage!) was a big plus. Activities and planned outings are tremendous and residents seem to be very engaged. Dining room is just fantastic. Staff was extremely helpful in getting the apartment ready to occupy. Stephanie and Christian were great and always made us feel like getting my parents settled in was their only priority. Would definitely recommend.
