Review by a family member of a resident:<br><br>Truly unique environment, providing safe & warm living conditions for the elderly and/or infirm. The staff shine by their love of the residents, and the hierarchy, under the new executive directorship of Ms. Ana Pratt, provides the structure & support needed by staff, residents, and their families to make the entire system work. Daily activities are handled by a newly-acquired gem, Ms. Mac, a beautiful, young, energetic but wise lady who somehow manages each individual with their particularities, as well as the group. She worked for over a month to put on a superb fashion show featuring the residents sporting new styles, women beautifully made up, gentlemen in chic outfits. Then came fresh flower arrangement classes, and the list goes on. Mealtimes are like being served in a restaurant, with high-quality food, presented beautifully, and regular menu changes, thanks to Randy, the new director of dining services. There are always options for residents who are somewhat finicky - grilled cheese sandwiches, specialty salads - it is absolutely clear that the people who work at this ALF actually *care* about the individual residents. (Let's be real: nobody works in this industry for the money!)<br>Bottom line: for the past 2 1/2 years, we have found Colonial ALF of Palm Beach to provide the best care, at an affordable price, in the area, and are so grateful to God to have followed the recommendation of someone who used to work there.
