Colliers has been an excellent place for my mother. The staff from administration to the medical team, environmental services, dining staff, maintenance staff and anyone I might have missed mentioning have been terrific. They all made my mother and us feel like family. The whole staff will be missed.

Wickshire management was pretty good and helpful however once sold to Collier's and their management came in, it went downhill fast. As long as you need no help or paperwork processing done for your loved one, then you are ok. If help is needed to navigate anything, good luck, the leg work is your responsibility with no help from management. All management does is stay in their offices all day and will let you know it's your responsibility to follow up on paperwork for faxes, calls, etc. I was told this to my face. Management resposibility ends at collecting the monthly rent. Hope you don't have to go to the ER as nurse had to finish a project before checking on the resident who was in pain. Family member took resident to ER as resident could wait no longer to be checked on or for nurse to appear. Showers are given erratically to residents. I was told they were short staffed repeatedly. Once Collier's took over, snacks were reduced as well as choice of entrees for meals. Staff not properly trained to assist resident's needs. I would not recommend this place to anybody. It needs a good overhaul starting with replacing existing management with experienced, competent management who looks out for the residents. Overpriced for how I saw residents not getting value.

Our mom was a resident of the Wickshire Assisted Living community for over 4 years. She was in general care for 3+ years in her own single apartment and then in Memory Care where she received a very high level of quality care. Mom recently passed away, she was 93 yrs old. The level of care our mom received throughout her stay at Wickshire was exemplary and my sister, brother and I were in constant contact (In person and Teams Calls) with the Wickshire leadership team regarding mom’s ongoing care.

My Mother, who is 94, recently needed to move from assisted living facility to a memory care facility. It was very difficult trying to figure out what place would be a perfect fit for her, until I spoke with Wickshire in Port Orange. Right away I felt like they would take care of her like she was their Mother. Now that she's been living at Wickshire for about a month in the memory care area, I was absolutely correct on choosing Wickshire, but not only for me , for my Mother. She is so happy and that right there, is the best feeling in the world.

My mother has been a resident at Wickshire Memory Disorder unit for approximately 2 months time. Everyday I am truly impressed with her care. I live close by and visit her almost daily. She is always neatly groomed with clean clothes. She appears very content. I can truly say the team there takes much better care of my mom than I was able to accomplish on my own. For reference I am a retired Nurse Practitioner and I am fairly hyper vigilant in assessing her care but no worries because they always surpass my expectations. They engage the residents in so many varied activities daily and I think this increased socialization has benefitted my mom the most. A great team from the Director to the daily care staff!! Love my mom being there and very highly recommend it. My only regret is that we should have taken her there sooner.
