My nana was placed in this nursing home. She was neglected and no one reached out to my mother to tell her that she was there. On top of that she passed away TUESDAY! My mother sat with her at the hospital screaming at the top of her lungs and crying! I highly recommend that if anyone is looking for a good nursing home go anywhere else but here.

My mother was brought to Cobbleston for rehabilitation. To help her to speak and eat. She was completely dependant on the for everything. She was neglected by the staff there. My family and had to make sure that they did what they were suppose to be doing. She was suppose to be given water every four hours and after almost 5 hours I had to go find a nurse to cover her water. I was there with her for 13 and they gave her water only one time. My mom passed away after being there two weeks and her reason for passing had nothing to do with the aneurysm she suffered a month and a half before. Because of moms believe in not sueing people, that is the only reason we didn't she them negligence and put them out of business. Mom was recovering before she went to cobbleston.

My mother went into Cobblestone for rehabilitation for a brain aneurysm and died from problems that had nothing to do with this reason. It was from lack of medical care and care for their patients. It took a family member to notice something wrong before the medical staff. If they had of given her the care and showed concern, she might have still been here today. If it wasn’t for the love I have for my father and his wishes, I would have did my best to have that place closed.

My grandmother ( Nana) was a patient here after surviving a ruptured aneurysm on her brain. She was placed here for rehab to help her eat, learn to talk, etc. The speech therapist was amazing. She loved him. On mothers day 2019 my family and I went to go visit nana. As I was placing lotion on her scaly skin (because apparently after baths, they never lotion her down) she pulled away from me when I rubbed her face. My mother noticed a large lump, swelling and redness on that side of her face. We had been noticing through visits they wouldn't clean her mouth out properly and started noticing "brown stuff" in her mouth. We would get a nurse and inform them, they really wouldn't say anything. Then we noticed how they didnt change her as often. When it was recommend to do as often as possible because of rawness and bedsores. Well mothers day came and my nana started running a fever and it took forever for them to get her transported to the er...which is right across the road. When she got there we found out all her scans from her aneurysm looked good. But she had set up some form of infection in her mouth. They were treating with antibiotics and informed us that going through surgery to drain the swelling which spread to her throat, was not a good idea because she wouldn't make it. So my nana couldn't fight anymore and passed on may 17th. We really thought this place would be a good place from reviews. But when I actually got to witness the things I did within the facility, my mind changed. I watched her roommate almost faceplate out of a wheelchair after being asked to be put to bed, and no nurse came in to do it. I had to run up the hall to get help. I also talked to another patient sitting outside and she even informed me and my family that she will hit the call button and they would never come. She hated the place because of the lack of work they provided. I am very disappointed because I truly believe with the progress my nana was making, she would still be here today. I do NOT recommend anyone to this facility. Maybe some staff need to go and new ones who actually are compassionate about there jobs instead of working for a paycheck may help.

I was a Rehab patient here for 30 days following an above knee amputation. The place is clean and welcoming. The therapy team is committed to the recovery of patients, accomplishing this not only with physical and occupational therapy, but also with positive and inspiring attitudes. I absolutely would go there again should I ever need inpatient therapy again.
