Close to Paradise is a shining example of how senior care should be done. After a horrible experience of poor care and neglect at a large nursing home, we moved my mother here. She is thriving under their attentive, loving care. Here she is not just another patient. They know her take amazing care of her, the food is great, & it is immaculate. No odors--in the facility or my mom. Finally, I have peace of mind knowing she is being cared for.

We struggled with the difficult decision to put my father in a home as he struggled with late stages of FTD and PPA. After touring several facilities that offered memory care we felt that Close to Paradise was the best fit for my father and our family. Adina and her staff provided excellent care for my father during his final weeks, exhibiting empathy and kindness. We are forever grateful that we chose Close to Paradise to care for my father. Thank you to all the caregivers at Close to Paradise for your wonderful care of my father.

Close to Paradise gave our dad the care and peace he truly needed Moving our dad into assisted living was not an easy decision. He’s always been the one taking care of us, and thinking about him needing care was emotional for all of us. We wanted a place that felt like home, not just somewhere that checks boxes. When we found Close to Paradise, something just felt right. From the very first visit, the atmosphere was different. The staff were warm and genuine. No pressure, no fake smiles. They actually listened to us. They asked about who our dad is as a person, not just what medications he takes. That meant a lot. Now that he’s living there, we’ve seen such a difference in him. He’s more relaxed, he’s eating well, and to our surprise, he even joins some group activities. The way the staff treats him with patience, respect, and kindness, makes all the difference. They don’t just do their job, they actually care. Every time we visit, we feel a sense of peace. The place is always clean, quiet, and welcoming. It’s not clinical or cold. It really does feel like a second home for him. And for us, knowing he’s in a safe, loving environment helps us sleep a little better at night. I’m honestly so grateful we found Close to Paradise. They’ve given our dad comfort and dignity, and they’ve given us peace of mind. We couldn’t have asked for a better place.

I cant say enough good things about Adina and Close to paradise, she and the staff were wonderful taking care of my father. they were compassionate, caring, and excellent with medication. my hats off to Adina and the staff.
