This rating is for management. There are very nice, helpful, caring people that work here. My mother went there for rehab Dec 2024 at the worst of times; during the holiday, and during a major renovation at the nursing home, then the snow. Difficult and special circumstances cannot be avoided, so we rely on management to provide a new schedule, alternate plans and the needed support so patients get a bath, therapy and hot meals as scheduled. It did not appear that management had a plan that provided information, help and support to the staff during these special circumstances. I spoke with many hardworking, dedicated employees that couldn't answer my questions concerning what time she would get a bath, have therapy and meals. Then getting my mom transported back to the hospital on a snowy Jan 10th when her potassium was low was another challenge. The weekend and nighttime caregivers sit at the desk and are not nice. My mother was miserable. They continually said she missed her bath because she was in therapy, but they didn’t provide a bath schedule. Her night nurse said Mom had dementia when I asked if she could get her 6am hydrocodone pill for pain. These pills kept getting left off. The best part of this rehab stay was her therapist. She was always on time, followed the schedule, and very nice. She called to let me know how my Mom was doing. She was very professional and helped me when it was time to take mom home.
