Clatsop Care Retirement Village in Astoria, Oregon offers independent living and assisted living services for seniors requiring moderate support with day-to-day activities. The community features three floor plans: studios (336 square feet), one-bedroom units (504 square feet), and two-bedroom units (832 square feet), each with kitchenettes and clustered in neighborhoods.

The community provides assisted living support alongside social opportunities and planned activities including exercise programs at no additional charge. A registered nurse and chef are on staff, and many team members have been with the community since its opening in 1999. While not required, many staff members are licensed and receive pre-employment training with access to continuing education.

Clatsop Care Retirement Village offers respite care services for individuals recuperating from hospital or rehabilitation stays, as well as for primary caregivers seeking temporary relief. Respite stays are fully furnished and all-inclusive, with nurses and caregivers on hand to assist residents at their own pace.

The community conducts assessments prior to move-in and regularly thereafter to adjust service levels as needed. Because services are connected through the Health District, residents can transition between care programs as their needs change.
