If you're looking for care for an elderly loved one - call them. Right now. Seriously. I was my grandmother's primary caregiver for two years. When her dementia and mobility issues made home care impossible, we tried agencies and private caregivers - all of which she hated, and none of which came close to the care she eventually received at Citiview. My husband called Jen, the owner, while I was sitting in the shower having a full breakdown. I was moving my grandmother out of her home of 60 years. She was non-ambulatory, incontinent, and her dementia was progressing to the point where she wouldn't be able to advocate for herself in any care environment. The weight of that was crushing. Jen arranged an after-hours tour that same day, and again when I brought my dad. The home is beautiful, peaceful, and clean, with at most 6 residents and caregivers available 24/7. My grandmother spent the last year of her life there, surrounded by some of the kindest people I've ever met. When she was hospitalized for an unrelated issue, she waited - she actually waited - to pass until she was back at Citiview. Until she'd joked with CiCi, seen her people, and felt safe being home again. Then she passed peacefully. The details I'll never forget: them painting her nails when I couldn't get there. Texts with pictures of her sitting on the patio in the sunshine. Her always being clean, healthy, and happy. No pressure sores. Medications managed. Incontinence supplies covered. Medical concerns flagged quickly. And somehow, Citiview was by far the most affordable option I found for that level of care. But more than any of that, it was the love you feel the moment you walk through the door. The peace of knowing she was safe and genuinely cared for. Jen, Jun, CiCi, and everyone at Citiview - there aren't enough words. We are beyond grateful these people came into our lives.
