Cimarron Court

Cimarron Court is an affordable independent living community for adults 62 and older (or those 18+ with mobility impairments) in Kearney, Nebraska. The community offers six studios, 17 one-bedroom apartments, and two minimal-barrier units designed to accommodate residents with varying mobility needs.

Rent at Cimarron Court is subsidized, with residents paying approximately 30% of their income toward housing costs. The community works with area agencies to provide supportive services for tenants who require minimal assistance to remain living independently, including connections to Meals on Wheels, Commodities programs, and home health providers.

The community is situated in a vibrant neighborhood with access to beautiful city parks, unique shopping areas, several restaurants, and numerous medical facilities. Public and private transportation services provide front door access. The Senior Center, located a few blocks away in Yanney Park, offers weekday lunches and daily activities for people 50 years and older.

Pets are allowed at Cimarron Court with a one-time pet deposit of $150, with payment plan options available. Residents receive keys to their apartment, a locked mailbox, and the community room. While apartments include substantial built-in storage space, no additional storage is available, and washer and dryer hookups are not provided.
