We were looking for a senior living facility for our friend after a fire unfortunately destroyed his apartment. We wanted a place that offers convenient services for daily life while still allowing him to maintain his independent living.<br><br>After a few initial phone conversations, we made an on-site visit to Ciel on the Hudson. The building is beautiful, and everywhere we looked was clean and organized. It is a large facility with a lot of great common areas for activities, including a big outdoor space, a garden, a dining hall, a cafeteria, a gym, a media room, and many other activity rooms. Looking at the digital schedule display, it seems they offer a fully packed list of weekly activities. The apartment we toured had a good layout, was very clean, and featured a great view. All in all, we loved what we saw and felt it would be the perfect fit for our friend after all the stress and anxiety caused by the fire.<br><br>What we appreciate the most is how helpful the staff has been, especially the representative, Blake Dolak, who guided us through this entire process. Because of the urgency of our situation, we searched for senior living on Google over the weekend, which directed us to Ciel. We left a message with the phone operator, and Blake called us back almost immediately, even though it was the weekend!<br><br>We toured the facility that following Monday. However, some logistical issues came up, and we pretty much gave up on the idea of moving there. Blake, however, came up with a creative solution that solved all of our problems! Ultimately, our friend decided to choose Ciel. Blake continued to follow up on every single step and detail that arose.<br><br>We are so happy to say that our friend is moving into Ciel tomorrow! Blake and the rest of the staff have been incredibly helpful throughout this whole process. We are very hopeful that they will continue to be just as caring and thoughtful once our friend settles in as a resident.

My introductory visit was great. I can almost see me living there. The only obstacle for me is the carpeting in the living room and bedroom. I have allergies that are better handled by wooden or vinyl flooring. But it was a great visit.

We were exceedingly happy with our choice of Ciel on the Hudson as a home for my mother during the last couple of years of her life. The staff in Assisted Living who helped her with her daily needs were kind, caring, responsible, and respectful. Mom had high culinary standards and thought the food was very good, as did I. She enjoyed frequent lectures, discussions, performances, and games, as well as relaxing with a book in the beautiful garden or light-filled indoor spaces.
