My mom could not breathe lying down, the CNA would come in to change sheets, etc, and the head CNA would come in to check out her work and just stand there for a.minute to check out her work. I complained about leaving my mom lying down for so long because she could not breathe lying all the way down. I complained about this, next time I come to visit mom, they had laid her down all the way and left her there for hours, without a call bell!! She stated before she left there that one of the CNAs walked in her her room, as she was playing asleep, and stated that she would take out every screw out of her bed!! This place is awful and had a big part in mom's death!!! Do Not take your loved one here!!!

Chipola goes above and beyond to take care of their residents and to make sure their life is enriched as possible. My mother-in-law has been there for almost a year now and I can honestly say she is so happy, she loves the staff, has made several friends while enjoying the activities, health has improved so much since she's been there. The therapy department is amazing and has helped her reach the best of her abilities. The teams there are really good about communicating moms health, concerns, improvements, financial, ECT. And always ready to help answer any questions we may have. Me and my husband are beyond blessed and at ease to have Chipola Health & Rehab taking care of our mother.

Chipola Health and Rehabilitation was heaven sent. My mom was a resident for 5.5 months and the staff was exceptional. After months of only being able to see mom on the porch due to Covid-19, we were finally allowed in just over a month before she passed away. The place was spotless. Mom smelled clean and well cared for. Whenever anything happened with mom, we received a call. If we had an issue, Cara resolved it immediately. If we had billing questions, Tammy answered. The day to day team knew mom by name and treated her with respect and love. We have never had to deal with a nursing home before so our experience is zero but Chipola set the bar pretty high. Thanks for being there for mom. With Respect!
