As an outsider visiting a friend at Franciscan Villa, I was incredibly impressed by the overall atmosphere and evident quality of care. From the moment I stepped inside, there was a palpable sense of peace and genuine welcome. The facility is immaculately clean, bright, and beautifully maintained, giving off a feeling of comfort and respect. The common areas are thoughtfully designed, encouraging relaxation and social interaction, and the grounds themselves are very pleasant, providing a serene environment for residents.

What truly stood out during my visit was the staff's dedication and kindness. Every interaction I observed between staff members and residents was filled with patience, genuine warmth, and a clear commitment to respectful care. Residents appeared happy, engaged, and well-cared for, which is the ultimate testament to the environment created at Franciscan Villa. It's clear they prioritize both the physical well-being and the emotional happiness of their community. Based on my comprehensive outsider's perspective, Franciscan Villa is a top-tier choice that truly lives up to its stellar reputation.

Probably one of the worst places on earth. They killed my grandmother!!! I wouldn’t send my dead dog to a facility like this. The care is awful the staff is neglectful and careless. They abuse their residents and of course it’s a state funded facility so who gets away with it? State was called, But due to my grandmother having dementia that was used against her “abuse behavior” was a reason why staff neglected her……. If you can’t handle someone with dementia you shouldn’t be a CNA!!!! Staff was rough during cares and their abusive language in front of family!! It was totally uncalled for!!! My grandmother died a long painful death when Franciscan villa medicated her WITHOUT doctors orders with oxygen and fentanyl patch that let me mind you the hospital had no records of having to order!! I am thankful that she did not die in that hell hole!!! I am forever grateful for Aurora hospice home!!! She was cared for and respected! That was the best care she got for her last three days then she did in Franciscanvilla!!!!!

It was months ago I thought this place was a good choice. Tonight as I worry about my Father no one answers a phone at 9:30pm. They don’t communicate anything to our family and my father has really been depressed. They moved him today and no one cared to give a new number. We’re praying to move him out soon. No nurses stay either. It’s not a place I want my incredible Dad in and I don’t advice it. Its a sad place of many that just sleep
