My 93 year old dad was in the facility for approximately 2 months and received excellent care. We thought we were going to have to place him in assisted living but they took great care of him so he was able to take care of his personal and medical needs almost on his own. And what he couldn’t do once he was home, the facility set up care for him so it was an easier transition back home. He is now thriving. If anyone asks my dad how his care was he tells them he was taken great care of—he is willing to tell anyone. He loves to go back and visit too.

These people are just awful. I have a Loved one in that place and has been very neglected. I'm looking into a transfer. Please do not put your Loved one in this awful place. The staff is very incompetent, biased and ignorant. (update). I have tried to reach out to the administration and have failed to get a response. Infact, when I have called I just get an automated answering service. I find it interesting how the replies to all these reviews seem automated to, just slightly edited to satisfy that specific review. My loved one almost died of dehydration due to the incompetence of the staff. They do not care! I am done trying to talk to them. Update I went there to visit my Loved one and as I was pulling into the parking lot there was an elderly man laying on his back in the parking lot! No staff was around so I helped him off the ground and picked up his walker. This Man was laying in the hot sun on the pavement. He said he had been there for a while. When I went in I told the receptionist and she didn't get help or anything! 😞 I can't believe this place isn't being investigated.

Last place I'd ever consider placing a family member. Absolutely terrible!!!! I can not express this enough. Horrible under trained staff( top to bottom). Director of facility refused numerous times to speak with family about neglect. Numerous complaints filed with New York State, no one seems to care, including the state. My mom was in for rehab, now she can't walk. Fell out of bed twice( broke her arm). We were call at 5 am to update DNR, the nurses didn't cared she couldn't breathe( looking to cover themselves). We immediately told them to transfer her to the hospital. When admitted to the hospital we were told she needed a blood transfusion( 2 bags needed) had a UTI( she has a catheter that was improperly placed) and multiple pocks of fluid in her lung! They did not follow protocols. Her white blood cells count was through the roof!!! They would have never sent her out for proper medical care had we not insisted. Had no intentions of doing so just wanted to update her DNR so they wouldn't be held responsible when something happened. She also has multiple bedsore. One was black and has been there for 8 months (but they have been treating it, right!). I trusted them to care for her as I live out of state. I cry knowing my mother is treated like a dollar sign. Needless to say I will be holding everyone accountable to the furthest extent.

I think this place is awful! It crazy how any time you visit.. other residents will be in my Grandpa's room stealing his items, you try to ask for help from staff to removed these people.. good luck! He constantly "falls out of wheel chair" .. why isn't he fastened in correctly? Not to mention the bed sheets would he covered with feces... then you go to ask for new sheets and it takes an hour later. Either hire more staff or take on less residents if you can't appropriately manage things. (Certain staff are wonderful... I'm speaking my frustrations on the terrible ones!) Edit/update: They give residents morphine and oxygen but NO fluids through iv.. even tho resident is dehydrated hasn't ate or drank in a day? He "doesn't need that".. odd?
