I definitely do NOT recommend this memory care facility. While the staff seemed friendly and like they cared in the beginning, by the end it was not so obvious. I witnessed a med tech and a daily tech talking harshly with the patients. These are people who are losing the ability to understand their circumstances and what's happening around them. They should be addressed with grace and compassion. I even had a med tech accuse my mom of being difficult on purpose and complained about her to me in my mom's ear shot. This is definitely not a warm or loving environment. The workers are just there to work. They do not appear to genuinely love their patients. It is painful enough to watch your family member suffer from Alzheimer's. I shouldn't have to deal with embittered staff complaining about them. They kept my mom sedated to the point of not being able to function or have any quality of life. Now she is in a facility that sees her as a person and treats her like she matters. I'm freshly seeing all the ways Chapters failed her and I'm grateful she is no longer in this cold, dark place.

My mother-in-law resides here and having access to meals was a key factor in choosing this place to live. However, she had always complained about the food. Now seeing this inspection report it is no wonder. Elderly need proper nutrition and safety. This report presents details that are health hazards and are unacceptable. There needs to more done than simply correcting mistakes that have proven to be repeated. This needs to be addressed immediately and alternatives discussed and put in place to provide healthy, delicious and safe food.

Failed 2 food service inspections. 2nd inspection was a follow up, so you knew they were coming and it included repeat violations plus new ones! Most recent inspections score was 61 with a grade of U. That score and grade means you shouldn’t be serving the public. These people eat in this facility 3times a day, they don’t have the option to go elsewhere. They’re elderly and may have compromised immune systems. They should be able to get food that is always safe to eat.<br>Need to take this seriously and make the necessary changes!!

So sad failing a food safety inspection twice!!!! Horrible for the residents who can’t leave and have to eat the food that might make them sick! The score of 86 last year was bad but this year was 70 and the reinspection was worse! 61!!!. Obviously management does not care.<br>I do have to say the workers other than kitchen staff are really awesome caring people.<br>Unfortunately food is a huge part of their daily care and it is unsafe!<br>Score of 61!!!

Failed the Food Inspection 2 TIMES!!!!! Back to back. My grandma lives at this facility and pays good money, all the residents pay to live here!!<br>Chapters Living of Canton you should be ashamed of yourselves.
