Beware choosing Mount Dora - you can't trust them. The place seems nice, and it is, and they do seem to treat residents nicely. But... they withhold care information, you don't know if your loved one is getting their medications, they don't tell you the truth if it serves them to lie, and they care about one thing only - making money. We got our loved one out of there, but at a huge cost.

Money hungry company . My mom passed away March 31st 2025 , I received a bill for April , even though we moved her belongs out on April 2nd , they state you have to give 30 day notice , how are you supposed to know someone is going to pass away . No compassion for the family , just worried about getting the money .

Absolutely wonderful place! The entire staff are some of the best people I’ve ever met. I will say one in particular Patrice really stood out to me. Her warm and kind heart shows with each interaction with each resident. Very very impressed I definitely recommend

I am extremely disappointed with Certus and the lack of compassion they’ve shown. My grandmother sadly passed away on March 31st, and yet this company had the audacity to call asking for payment for April and May a full month she would not even be there. Even worse, they did not take proper care of her while she was there. She was mistreated and neglected, and our concerns were often dismissed. No family should have to watch a loved one go through that. To make matters even more painful, we continued receiving calls and texts about hair and doctor appointments well after her passing. This kind of carelessness and lack of communication is both unacceptable and deeply hurtful during an already emotional time. This experience has been nothing short of disrespectful, heartless, and unprofessional. I would strongly advise against trusting Certus with anyone you love. Their actions reflect a disturbing absence of empathy, accountability, and basic human decency.
