When my 83 yr old mother’s Dementia had progressed and myself and my sisters could not be there everyday for her I began searching for Home Care. After meeting with Katie Greaves I knew they would be a good fit for Mom. Kellie, Brooke and Katie have all been great with Mom and have taken good care of her. With Dementia things change sometimes and we have always been able to communicate back and forth with them about these changes. It’s not easy to watch your Mom fade away and not be who she once was but the peace of mind knowing that she is still able to be comfortable in her home and taken care of by caring people does offer some peace of mind. Thank you so much!

Central KY Home Care has enabled my dad to stay in his home as long as possible. Everyone has been great and always responds to our texts when we have questions about our dad. They do everything they can to improve his quality of life. They are always open to suggestions and ideas.

The review expresses my genuine gratitude for the exceptional caregiving and homecare services provided to my husband [not a senior age category] during his complicated post-surgery recovery. It was hard to accept the reality when I was struggling to provide care while working on demanding hours, that I realize I need a help this time - but weighing my anxiety to find the trusted and right one for caring my loved one. Plus, noticing custodial care is out of my employer's medical coverage - as considered non-medical. From the very first phone call, the staff exhibited genuine compassion and understanding of his unique needs, ensuring a personalized and comprehensive care plan tailored to his medical condition. Katie, the owner, stood out with her kindness and respect, consistently going above and beyond to emphasize the importance of punctuality, reliability, and attentiveness. This commitment provided me with peace of mind, especially as I had to remain working. The team seamlessly adapted to changing circumstances, addressing our need for short-term temporary custodial homecare and effectively communicating with us every step of the way. I also appreciate the hours/care flexibility in adapting to our financial constraints, as custodial care isn't covered by my employer's medical insurance (self-pay). The team worked with us to create a schedule that aligned withing our budget, ensuring that we received the caregiving hours we needed and could afford. The professionalism and empathy displayed by our caregivers, Kathy and Rhonda, fostered a sense of trust, respectful, emphatic and friendliness. Their care qualification and connection with my husband contributed significantly to his overall safe recovery process, while still maintaining his dignity as an individual. I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking reliable and affordable caregiving and homecare services, especially those who are self-paying. Our experience related to caring needs, primarily for daily hygiene assistance (bathing, dressing), prepared light breakfast/brunch, taking to medical appointments, and sometimes with light cleaning after eating and put away dirty laundry after bathing/dressing. It has been nothing short of exceptional, and we are grateful to have had such a dedicated and compassionate team supporting us during a challenging time (knowing that we are not alone). Thank you!

Katie, Rhonda and the crew have been invaluable. They personal interest in my parents’ welfare and needs has been a blessing. Flexibility, interest in anything that might help, great communication… They continue to be a blessing and I recommend them highly.

I was able to meet Rhonda on my last visit. She has been working with my Father and Mother for in home care and support. Rhonda gives great care and our family is very grateful for all she does to increase their quality of life. She has been amazing, often times when family could not be there, and with each routine visit. My parents feel she genuinely cares and goes the extra step in serving. I don’t know Katie, but I believe her to be in charge of care providers, and would say that has been super in who she has chosen to work with my Father (and Mother). Also, in her scheduling she works so kindly with them. (As well does Rhonda!) Thanks a bunch for your service and care!
