We selected Cedarwood at Sandy for my 98 year old mother. Brit DuClos is the Sales Manager that helped in finding the right type and location of room in the facility for Mom. Brit was excellent to work with and provided all the floorplans and cost info we needed to make a selection. Brit is very knowledgeable of the facility and has a friendly, helpful personality. Beyond sales though, Brit has checked in on our mother off-and-on and been so very helpful during the time Mom has been there.
Cedarwood at Sandy is a very nice facility. The building is clean and well kept. The staff are so very friendly and always helpful. The dining facilities are nice, the variety and quality of food is good, and the servers even recognize the residents by name and often know what to recommend to the resident based on their likes and dislikes. And the servers are always pleasant. The front desk staff are very pleasant, helpful and genuinely interested in the residents. Meagan is a gem and the other desk staff are equally great at their job.. The housekeeping staff are also pleasant and very conscientious, and keep the residents' rooms and linens clean and fresh.
We are so happy we selected Cedarwood at Sandy for our mother!

My mom and I spent several weeks looking at different options for an independent living place that she could be comfortable and transition to as her health required. Cedarwoods in Sandy was the one that stood out the most with all the comforts and amenities but still have the independence that my mom wanted.

I cannot sing the praises of Cedarwoods and Brit DuClos enough. There was no marketing emails, texts or phone calls that pestered me-- I had a real person who was so understanding about this big new chapter for my mom. When we looked at the Cottages, the timing wasn't quite right for my mom and I asked to be informed about availability when the timing was right. I would get periodical updates for the next six months from Brit and it was then that the timing was right and my mom moved into the Cottage she wanted. No high pressure sales but complete sympathy and patience for our family when the timing was right.

I know it was difficult and stressful for my mom but Brit, Karen, and the whole Cedarwoods staff made my mom feel welcome on Day 1. I know it was the right decision and my mom felt that too. Now my mom isn't stressed at managing her house and has help with housekeeping and meals (to name a few)-- which by the way, the meals are amazing. My mom is closer to me and my siblings, which makes it easier for us to visit more regularly.

I think about life a year ago and how difficult and stressful it's been with my aging parents. Fast forward to today and the peace of mind of knowing my mom is happy and comfortable is priceless. Also, I recommend trying the brisket tacos, Chef Jesse is a beast with the smoker.
