My mother-in-law recently had to go to the hospital for an issue. After release from the hospital, and brief stay in a rehab facility, we moved her back to her residence at Cedarhurst. My wife called them to let them know that we would be arriving shortly. As we entered the driveway to Cedarhurst, several staff members were outside with her wheelchair to help assist getting her out of the car and back into the facility. As I parked the car, my wife walked along beside her. When I got into the building, I realized that Kaitlyn had come in on her day off work just to greet our mother and welcome her back! Kaitlyn also made a rendered AI generated collage of pictures of her, capturing her personality, framed it, and put it in her room! I have to say the love of Kaitlyn and all of the memory care staff is well above and beyond our expectations, and we are so grateful for all they do to take care of our mother. However, the care doesn't stop with our mother. They treat each resident with respect, dignity, and the utmost agape love that one could imaging. We simply can't express how thankful we are to have found Cedarhurst. We appreciate the entire staff!<br><br>We are convinced that Cedarhurst of Oakwood is as close to perfect as possible. From the bottom of our heart, thank you Memory Care staff for your love and attention to all the residents!

I love Cedarhurst of Oakwood, and my mother is thriving there! The staff gets to know each resident and anticipates what will help prevent falls and accidents. Moving my mother to Cedarhurst of Oakwood was certainly the right choice for our family. She loves the staff and is happier and more content here. We can't say enough about the "love" that each staff member shows for ALL residents! If I could give more stars than 5, I would definitely give 10 stars to everyone at this wonderful home. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, please DO NOT sign anything with any other facility until you at least review this place. It truly has been a blessing for my 94-year young mother!

I was referred to Cedarhurst by a competitor as a better fit for my mother. I was warmly greeted and made to feel right at home immediately by Megan Crane. We moved mom in to the memory care community two weeks ago and I have been surprised by the love and care we have received from all of the employees.<br><br>From the way the Nurse Josse-Lucy coordinates with our hospice, to the daily updates with pictures we receive from Necosha (Coco), the Memory Care Director, to the dedicated staff like Kristen Lockwood, the Executive Director, answering the phone and sleeping over during a ice-storm situation, lets me know that mom is safe and happy in her new community.<br><br>Just as important are the med-techs and ladies that help out here all day and night to ensure that all of the residents are well cared for. I could not take care of mom the way Cedarhurst is able to and I am so incredibly blessed to have found the perfect fit for our family.
