My sister was often neglected. More seriously, doctors orders (written) were ignored with unfortunate consequences for her. She decided to chance it at her home rather than stay at Cedar Lake. She came home with an open pressure sore that no one seemed to notice, even though she had complained about pain in that area.

The new cafe is the best kept secret in Washington County. The food is fresh and made to order. The prices are phenomenal.

I really can't put into words how grateful I am for this place. Every single staff member here takes incredible care of my dad, to the point where I actually wonder how they get it all done because they are SO attentive to his needs. If you are considering this facility for a loved one, do it. It feels like a family!
