Our experience at Cedar Hollow has been incredible. It’s not the easiest place to get into but it was the only place we wanted to go. We had visited early with Miss Vicky and were very impressed once we were accepted due to perseverance and help from the faculty here we continued to be pleasantly surprised with the attitude and amenities. We feel like Cedar Hollow is head and tails above anything else we’ve experienced from professionalism with the executives to the staff during day and night shifts we have not had an issue I take that back. There’s been two or three issues that when brought to their attention were rectified immediately and to our satisfaction we’re very grateful that my mother‘s been able to be here we’ve been in another rehab before never a extended stay we were never happy in one past two or three days. My mother‘s been here for several weeks and we continue to enjoy the experience. We truly believe this place has been God sent for us and I would highly recommend anyone considering this facility. I’m glad to take this survey and I stand behind a positive rating for Cedar Hollow.

Cedar Hollow Rehabilitation Center is a well run facility. The staff are very kind, caring and attentive. They strive to give each resident their very best care. Smiling through difficult situations and showing compassion. It is also very clean. The food prep is thoughtful and varied. We know how our older people are very particular and their taste buds aren’t what they used to be. We tasted the food and it was good and presented well. They took excellent care of our Mother.

There's a significant shift in U.S. nursing home regulations: the federal mandate for a Registered Nurse (RN) on-site 24/7 was repealed, taking effect February 2, 2026, meaning facilities will no longer always need a 24/7 RN, potentially increasing risks for residents given existing staffing shortages and concerns about care quality. This change reverses a key rule from the Biden administration intended to improve care, but opponents argued it was impractical for rural areas and understaffed facilities, while supporters say it removes a safety net for vulnerable seniors.
