I was going to give this place a good review they were doing great work with my wife however it was her birthday last week and I bought her a bottle of perfume for her birthday this was a designer perfume that wasn't cheap maybe I shouldn't have brought it up there but I didn't think anyone would steal it they're supposed to be providing care for the elderly not taking from them I'm hurt and disappointed you would think people that work there would have a heart for those that are down in life no we going to kick them further down 👎🏻

The CNA‘s are great and very friendly. The nursing staff is very professional, but they need to have dietary food, especially for people that are diabetics. The food isn’t really that great my wife lost 16 pounds in like three weeks so about one out of every three meals is good.

I've read some of the reviews on here and I must make a comment or two about what I read. One family/friend of a resident wrote she was upset because they wouldn't give her a room number to put on a patient's Christmas card. The nursing home was in their legal right not to do so because of HIPAA. Patients' information cannot be given out over the phone. The employee was doing the right thing by not giving the room number. Another person wrote how a patient in the facility didn't see a physical therapist as much as she thought she would. As far as I know, an insurance company must approve the physical Therapy along with a doctor's order. This is no fault of the facility.

In March of 2022 I began to do research on the best possible options for Long Term community Care that would best suit my Mother's needs. I work in a Long Term Care facility so this would be a challenge for us. I sought advice from those in this field that would help us make a wise choice, and visited them on more than one occasion. I can honestly say I'm so grateful that we made the decision in May of 2022 to move into Cedar Crest Manor. Neither I or my Mother have been disappointed. Now l know there's not a perfect place out there, so this is why they get the rating given. With that said let me say, the kindness, respect, attention, activities, engagement, food, love, support, and family atmosphere that they have is what we were looking for. I know out of all the facilities we could've chose God already knew what was best way before we even knew we needed it. Cedar Crest Manor is a great family owned facility. All of the staff are friendly, helpful, and hard working. The residents are happy and very well cared for. Owners and administration go above and beyond for the residents as well as the staff. They have handled the covid pandemic very well and protected the residents and staff to the best of their ability with the ever changing rules and regulations. They have also just had a defficiency free state survey. I would highly recommend this facility to family or friends.
