I have been looking for a nursing home that will be a good place for my grandma. After reading reviews I visited this nursing home and the facility looked pretty nice! I spoke to a staff member who was passing out trays and I asked if they had a dining room and was told they did but they don't use it often because they don’t have enough workers which is common. I was also surprised to find out they don’t have a laundry facility. The staff can “adopt-a-resident” and will wash residents’ clothing at their home which doesn’t seem very sanitary. I asked an employee in passing about how many residents a person is assigned during a shift and was told 10-15, but as of lately 20+. I want her to be able to have more one-on-one time with the staff, have social time with other residents, and be cared for efficiently. I’m just not sure this place is able to do so…

This Healthcare Facility for Long Term Care has been a true God send! This is my Dad 3rd year in long term care and has been at Cavalier only 3 months. I can’t say enough about the number of caring staff members there! No place is perfect because it has human beings working, but Cavaliers Administrators put forth their best to make sure the highest quality of care is administered. The staff is friendly and helpful. The D.O.N, Charge Nurse , Social Director, Social Worker, Activity Director, Office Manager, Quality Control Nurse, Dietitian, Maintenance Supervisor and his team are awesome! There are CNAs who have been angels! Thank you all for making my Dad’s “Home Away From Home”, a peaceful place for him, and for us. Keep up the good work! And, may God continue to lead, guide and direct your steps.
