We’ve been through 2 rehabs/longterm care facilities in Silverdale for the past 9 months. The last one a complete nightmare. We thought about Cascade as it had been around for decades. The place is truly homie. The attention to communication & continuing to give them their rights along with continued dignity & grace is top tier. The staff actually seem happy to be working here. Dining for meals is like a 5 star restaurant where you can order your meals & be waited on every meal like you’re at a restaurant. The activities are thoughtful & inclusive. The administration knows every resident by name & walks through speaking personally to those they cross paths with. You can live with your beloved pet here! The rooms are clean & spacious & we couldn’t be happier! Thank you Cascades of Bremerton for being a phenomenal facility as a whole. 💙💙

If I could give Ashley Gardens staff more than five stars I would. Let me start with Lisa my true angel. I flew into town when my Mother fell a few months ago and I thought she was going to stay at rehap a few weeks then I was told I had one week to place her in a home or take her home. We would’ve loved to take her home but she needed 24/7 care to be safe. We knew she was getting close to needing care just before the fall. I frantically looked for places and in the process I met Lisa. She guided me through the process and it was a process to get everything coordinated. I had absolutely no help from the rehap place. Yes, Ashely Gardens is not as fancy as the other memory care places and it has bathrooms outside the rooms, but found in my observation it’s safer than bathrooms in residents rooms. I have seen a lot of memory care places for 10 years when my Mother in Law was alive. This place has a group home feel to it. A working fire place, a dining area for each section and activities in each section. They have one staff member per five residents. I am from out of town and flew back a few months later to visit so I literally spent everyday there for hours. I got to know the staff and residents. I also want to give a shoutout to Kelsey and Shelly. There are many more to mention and the list goes on. This is not easy work and I can’t thank these caregivers enough. My Stepmother was in another place and not happy with the care and I spent hours there visiting my Dad also and observed. I spoke to friends about their place and they had similar experience. So my Stepmother moved my Dad a different section than my Mom but close enough by that I could visit both of them and she lives in the Independent Living area. Wow, one stop shop and I can see everyone when I’m in town.

Our mother has lived at the Cottages for 1 year. This has been a blessing for her and our family. The level of care and facility is beyond expectations. The kind competent Nurses and support staff have given us confidence in her care. We are very grateful to have her safe and taken care of at the Cottages. David Tift
