Some of the staff should be trained in de-escalation. There should also be a better way on how they address people. Although it is clear they are there to protect the patient it doesn't mean they should be disrespectful to patients and their family members. Just because you wear a uniform doesn't always mean the job is done correctly

I must admit, after reading some of the reviews, I did not want to attend Casa Promesa. But, I am so grateful that I did. When I arrived, I could not walk and was losing faith that I ever would. The physical therapy team greeted me on my first day and two months later I am leaving with a walker and new found hope. Along with the physical therapy, there was daily and weekly activities to participate and interact with the other residents. The place was always well maintained and clean. There is a cafeteria offering three meals a days and a variety of foods. The nursing staff is attentive and caring. I am so blessed to have spent my time at Casa Promesa healing, growing and learning how to walk again. Please don't hesitate in making a decision to come.

I'm standing here over 20 mins and the lady with the dark hair and glasses at the front desk doesn't know how to use a computer, is eating at her desk and taking to relatives on the phone. I requested an appointment to come back as I may have mouth cancer and she doesn't understand a simple request. Theyhave a smoke detector on low battery making a loud sound and the door is wide open. So unprofessional and I'm changing doctors, I've had enough. It a hole in the wall, you can't even call to make appointments because their number doesn't work. I have the patience of a saint and have overlooked many red flags about this place and this is the final straw.

Casa promesa has offered me a safe place to be and Medically I get all the care. The staff from administration ,social service recreation, dietitian and nursing have give me all the support I need it.

Casa Promesa help me to be a better person. I get support from every staff from administration, social service and specially nursing. Medical department makes sure I get the right treatment and I feel free to approached the staff for any concerns. We go on trip that help us with our self stem and mental stimulation. We also have the coping skill groups that helps us with our substance abuse.
