My Mom was here for about 8 months and we did not have any problems. All the staff was so nice a there for you. They took very good care of her. The staff taking care of my Mom were wonderful, they really cared and I want to thank them for being there for us.

We had hoped to have my father in law placed here for rehab after having a stroke three months ago. We took the time to drive out and check it out as well as speak with someone in admissions. We were given a general time frame and shared contact information. Although this facility was clean and full of friendly staff we had a terrible experience with the admission staff. Our social worker through a home health company had difficulty reaching someone which should have been our first sign of trouble. We soon learned that they will ignore phone calls as well as text messages even though you ask for them to contact you. We are in a difficult, stressful position caring for my father in law and were left just waiting with no news from the admission staff at Laural Bay. I understand being busy but a simple text message would have been more than sufficient for us yet they ignore those as well as over half a dozen missed calls/voicemails. When we finally decided to go above their heads the person I spoke with not once apologized for the situation and the lack of communication. In fact they didn't even acknowledge that I had even told them an employee ignored multiple voicemails and had not contacted us in over five days. It was as if she was not even concerned about it or how frustrated we are. We were very hopeful about sending my father in law here and regret the entire experience.
