After touring beautiful Carillon Oaks in Daphne Al, around March with Amanda and then again three months or so later with Robin Sweet, we had very high hopes of for our mom, who has dementia, to become a resident at Carillon Oaks. We experienced some setbacks as Mom was admitted into the hospital. The stay was longer than we anticipated and at one point she was diagnose with Covid. It took a while to find a rehab facility….finally started rehab at a nursing home. Robin was working with us and assured us that mother would have a room /apartment after the assessment. Well, the day of the assessment was the biggest letdown!! (Mom didn’t meet their standards, although it’s stated in the brochure, that, “ regardless of the level of care your loved one needs “….etc.) We received an email from Robin instead of a call, after all this time working with her, we thought we had a place for Mom. Very disappointing! Well, The 21 days for rehab has expired and we have to pay out of pocket, while working hard on trying to find a place for Mom.🙏🏽
