We toured many different assisted living homes before deciding to move my mom to Cappella. In our opinion, it was head and shoulders above the other facilities we visited. We immediately felt welcomed when we arrived. We were greeted by the concierge, a member of the restaurant staff, and a resident. Barbara met with us and gave us information about Cappella and a tour. We were impressed with how all the residents and staff we came across seemed genuinely happy to be there. Barbara chatted with several residents as we toured, and clearly knew them well.

The move in process was easy - and we felt that we, especially my mom, had all the support we needed. Her apartment is bright and cheerful. While we were impressed with Cappella as a whole, the true shining light at Cappella is the caregiving staff. They are helpful, compassionate and kind. My mom feels totally comfortable and cared for with these amazing people, which gives us great peace of mind.

We highly recommend Cappella.

My Dad just moved in to Capellas. I have to say Barbara, Theresa , all the nurses and the kitchen staff are so kind and caring to my Dad!! He's struggling with losing his independence and it's been hard for him. They are so understanding! I love going there and they know me by name! I told my Dad they make me feel like family!! Thank you for taking good care of the most important person in my life!!

i feel very fortunate to have found Cappella for my father in law. my cousin found Cappella for her mother and soon after her father joined… she highly encouraged me to join the support group and through the support group, i found a beautiful group of family members that i had lots in common with. Very soon after, my father in law had an incident at another memory support facility where he was put in a very dangerous situation. Cappella took him right in to their facility. i have never felt so relieved to not have to worry about my father in laws safety.Cappella has so much knowledge about dementia and they are so supportive with their patients…. they know his needs and they work with him. i can’t imagine not having Cappella here for support!! Thank you! 😊❤️🙏

My wife was found to have Alzheimer’s several years ago and I went to a number of support/educational groups to try to learn what we were in for, how to care for her, myself and our 16 year old daughter still at home.

I finally found Cappella's and have really started learning things that I can use!! Cappella’s support group meets monthly and the group has been an invaluable source for new meds, services, community resources etc., and Barbara is a wealth of information. What a great time of camaraderie and cookies!!!

Cappella’s also facilitates Knowledge at Noon monthly which includes lunch and a seminar/presentation typically by a local vendor, covering a topic relevant to us Caregivers. We have learned about Medicare, the PACE program, keeping our person safe at home and my personal favorite, the SPECAL Method which has changed my whole perspective as a caregiver!

Memory Cafe is another great service Cappella’s provides. This is a dinner once a month for Caregivers and their person to get out and enjoy the companionship of others going through the same things so no need for embarrassment or stress. By the way, the meal is first class too!

All of these are provided at no charge as a way to help us deal with the changes with our loved one, and I look forward to these every month.

If you want a surprise, ask for a tour of the facility. Cappella’s has different levels of care available in a very modern, bright and airy environment. Since my first visit I was impressed with how clean everything was, how friendly the staff is and how it feels more like a luxury hotel than a care facility.
My favorite part?? No noxious smells!!!

Thank you Cappella’s!!
Thank you Barbara!!
