My father received the finest care at Cannon Rivers Senior Living. He was a very difficult resident and they continued to handle him with respect and dignity, not getting frustrated in the process. We could not have been happier! They became family to all of us. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

Cannon Rivers Memory Care Unit was a beautiful experience for my mother-in-law Jenny Mae as well as our entire family. The tender-loving care, invaluable insight, compassionate daily interactions not only enhanced Momma Jenny’s life, but her family’s as well. The staff were always patient and attentive, the activity director is a blessing beyond measure, the nurses and aids are truly doing God’s work. The rooms were always clean, the food is second to none, and medical attention always priority number one. Cannon Rivers is the best!

I very recently used Cannon Rivers Senior Living Respite Care for my husband who has dementia. I'm overjoyed to have connected with this fabulous place! Having been primary caregiver for several years, I'm so excited to now have a place where I can confidently leave him for an amount of time long enough to take a vacation away from home, at home, get back to being involved in my community again, kind of what I looked forward to in retirement! This place is something special, I knew it the moment I walked in the door! There is a genuine sense of camaraderie amongst staff and administrators, everyone seems to love being there and love their jobs. Respect, care and concern are evident in interactions with residents. My mother has been living at this facility since the fall of 2019, and has been very happy here. The apartments and common areas are beautiful, and the staff are exceptional. There are so many activities available to the residents, and the services offered range from independent living, assisted, and memory care. I am there on a regular basis, and when I cannot be there, I am completely at ease knowing that my mother is in a safe environment, and well looked after. Recently they held a Mother's Day Tea in the dining room to celebrate all the moms living there. The food and entertainment was outstanding, making every mom there feel so very special and valued. This is just one example of the many ways in which the staff provide opportunities for their residents and their families feel loved and important. With so many facilities to choose from for senior citizens, I cannot recommend Cannon Rivers enough! It is located in the beautiful small town of Cannon Falls, situated close to the freeway between the twin cities and Rochester, making it easy to visit. There are medical facilities in Cannon Falls, and neighboring communities, so getting your loved one to appointments is easy. There is a bus shuttle service provided weekly for medical appointments for those who cannot drive or have someone to take them. They also offer local trips to various places so that residents can get out and explore, shop, etc. My mother happens to live in a two bedroom apartment, so if I (or any of my family members) want to spend the night with her, we are able to do so at no charge. For residents with smaller units, there is a guest room available to rent if they have guests from out of town who would like to stay, which is such a fabulous feature. If you are looking for a home for yourself or a loved one in their advanced years, schedule a tour soon! You will not regret it!
