Horrible. My Dad was transported from Bay Hospital Kent general yesterday. I was there today. They are sending him back to the hospital. Don’t want to share his privacy. When I left at six he was fine. Then I am called at 7 tonight saying he pulled out his catheter and they were sending him back to the hospital. I cannot believe they can’t handle this. After my hospital case worker told me he was approved for 4 facilities I said what do you suggest. She said Cadia I said ok. Then my mistake being from Pa and not knowing any facilities. I trusted her. End of story. The first 15 minutes I was in his room. Called the Magnolia wing. His obnoxious roommate was on the phone and talking about how loud the room was to his wife etc. My Dad is always polite as am I. I asked to have him moved. One last thing he is not going back there. I am calling his doctor tomorrow. He has great ins please if you have a choice don’t send someone there. Christine

On my Aunt’s wing (200) I think the staff are dedicated to the patients and really try to do a good job. The Hispanic lady who works on her wing, talks to her even though my aunt doesn’t communicate much. The facility is clean and most importantly safe.

Yes this place is something else. My mother-in-law has been in there a month still has an open wound. Cannot progress no further in rehab or physical therapy due to the open wound. They have been asked to take her to Bay Health Kent General multiple times. Now she's going to be ready to leave Monday still with an open wound to her right hip you will not get nowhere with this place. Myself as the power of attorney and medical power of attorney can't get nowhere over this place. How do you release somebody with an open wound? Why did you not take said patients to the hospital so an orthopedic surgeon can look at the right hip with the open wound. We will find out soon. You cannot remove scar tissue and only give the patient Tylenol that's why they can't perform and Rehab on a bike because of their hip.

My father just left Cadia to move to a facility closer to us. The move was a difficult decision as we really likes the care he was receiving at Cadia. He had some medical issues while there and they quickly transported him to the hospital and when cleared he was right back in their care. EVERY staff member we encountered was so nice. Dads a big eater and he always got plenty to eat. Facility was kept clean. Thank you for watching over my father.

This rehabilitation center is clean and a nice facility. The rooms are nice, the corridors are spacious and bright. There is a nice dining room with a sitting area and piano. The tables and decor are nice and clean. The supervisor, Mike, was very nice and courteous. The in-house Dr was friendly and very knowledgeable. The physical therapist was very nice, helpful and experienced. The only reason I did not give it a five (5) star rating was because some of the aides are not the friendliest, and their response is not the best. Sometimes they seem frustrated and not that courteous.
