Just received a county alert on my phone that a missing 81 year old woman with dementia was last seen at that ALF location address. Be careful, if that woman was a resident that is a very bad sign that staff are inattentive, that they are understaffed, and / or have a dangerous disregard for sufficient care standards to allow their facility to operate in such a way a whole grown adult could go missing from it. An ALF has ONE JOB to keep seniors safely cared for. IF the missing person is in fact a resident of this facility (likely) I would never send an elderly or otherwise vulnerable adult there, and you shouldn’t either. Be very careful with selecting an ALF it is known these types of places are notorious for fake manufactured 5 star reviews. Always sort Google reviews to look at negative reviews, then also look at other websites the ALF is listed on for reviews, look at the negative reviews there also and look for themes: that is likely to give you the most accurate view about the ALF’s real issues. You can check your mobile phone for a county alert from 88911 today issued 7/1 around 9:27 am regarding a missing senior with the last known location being the address of this assisted living facility.
