My husband was transferred late in the evening to Buffalo Crossing from the hospital. They got him into a beautiful room before I even got there. There was a CNA and two nurses who came and did all that was necessary to make him comfortable and get him checked in. I regret that I don’t remember their names, but they were all very friendly and took the time to talk to us. So far the experience is great!

I had been in 2 other rehabs for medical issues that kept arising one after another. Each place had its good and bad points but overall I didn't want to go back to either of them. However, at one of them, I had the good fortune to meet up with a wonderful physical therapist named Gina, who was there to help out. Her usual base of operation was Buffalo Crossing, and she recommended it. I thought that if I had the bad luck to need a rehab again, I would go there. So I DID have the bad luck to need rehab again, and I went to Buffalo Crossing. Compared to the first 2, it was like sunshine after a rainy day! I found everyone to be professional while being kind and caring. And I met up with Gina again and worked with her on my PT. She is amazing - so sweet and easy-going! I'd like to give a special shoutout to to her vo-worker Maure - also very sweet and considerate! A special shout-out to med nurses Stephanie and Gwen, as well as to aide Corinna, one of the sweetest people I've ever met. If I have to go to a rehab again, no place for me except Buffalo Crossing - they truly care about the patient's comfort and satisfaction.

My mom went to rehab at Buffalo Crossings after she recently had a stroke. Based on the good reviews I insisted she go there. What a mistake. The nurses hardly checked on her. The staff was not friendly or helpful. After we complained about the care, her room was moved & the staff in the new section was nicer. OT was constantly done in her bathroom. PT wasn’t much better. She was rarely taken down to the PT room, they kept doing little things in her room. They barely got her walking & she was very motivated. I was so frustrated. Food was terrible. She kept saying “they just want to shut your door & forget you are here.” Awful experience. At the lowest, loneliest part of your life a little compassion & kindness goes a long way. Our family will never be back to this place. We couldn’t wait to get her out of there.

My family and I could not be happier with the truly exceptional care my mother received during her extended stay of nearly four months at Buffalo Crossings. From the moment she arrived, the entire staff—nurses, therapists, and administrative team—was nothing short of attentive, professional, and deeply compassionate. They are not only highly skilled but also incredibly encouraging and enthusiastic, demonstrating a passion for their work. We felt they genuinely loved helping patients recover and reach their "new best". The facility itself is well maintained, comfortable, and welcoming. We highly recommend Buffalo Crossings to any family seeking the best possible rehabilitative care.

Update: spoke with UM Cassandra and DON Sara. Had a great informative conversation and all the miscommunication and barriers has been cleared and sorted out. With the coordination of help , I was finally able to speak with my dad. Also spoke with Dawn in admissions and she also assisted in coordinating a conversation with my father, she also provided valuable information on the process there . This place is gorgeous! Therapy room is incredible! Such a clean modern facility! How the care is there … NO CLUE! My father has been there going on week 2 for short term rehab. He can’t answer his phone without assistance. I have called multiple times a day to talk with nursing and NEVER can talk to someone. I have called a spoken with Dawn in admissions and now have left 2 messages and nothing ! I have left 2 messages with the therapy dept ! I now have a message in with the Director Todd. All my family wants is an actual update on his progress to determine discharge needs when he’s ready. Not much to ask at all Communication here is horrible! The receptionists are lovely and the only contact you’ll ever make if your love one comes here. Very frustrating when my father’s entire family does not live local . So it may be gorgeous on the outside but beware if you’re not local you will never know how your love one is doing.
