My stepson has been there over a month and is still there and the care has been exceptional. The facility is clean and the caregivers are compassionate and professional. Everyone I’ve dealt with have been very professional and caring .

This place does not care about its residents. My grandpa declined faster in this nursing home than he ever did at home, and it was devastating to watch. Staff showered him with cold water and didn’t even have towels ready. They had no idea what medications he was on or even his medical history, which is terrifying for a facility that is supposed to provide medical care. That level of negligence is unacceptable. We tried to make him more comfortable by bringing blankets and a TV from home. The blankets were never used and were eventually taken away, and the TV was never put up at all. It felt like anything we did to improve his quality of life was ignored. Instead of helping him, this place made his condition worse. Watching someone you love deteriorate because of poor care is heartbreaking and something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Please think very carefully before trusting this facility with someone you care about.

My mom was hospitalized at Baptist and was transferred to Brookwood Garden back in late September 2025 for physical therapy. My mom is an epileptic patient. On her first day there I specifically went to talk to the nurses to make sure that my mom was given her medication because if my mom goes without meds she will have seizures. I expressed concerns and wanted to make sure they would take care of her. They assured me they had everything and went over her medication list. It was not until the next day I could not reach my mom that I worried. My sister went to check on her since she lived closest and found my mom unresponsive and having multiple seizures. When the police were called they came and took my mom back to the hospital and after blood work found her levels were off including her thyroid meds. My mom was not given her medications and could have died. Do NOT put your loved one in here. Not only that, this place looks like a flashback to the 70’s. Incredibly outdated beds, rooms, physical therapy equipment. The yard where they go out to spend time in is in terrible shape. The nurses are very rude and ignore their patients. The lady next to my mom for an entire hour was calling out for extra blankets and no one attended hers. Very sad place.

This place is awful I went to go see my grandma. There was a foul stench in the room, and I realized that the guy at the far end of the dining table, was not showing any signs of life.. WE LITERALLY DINED WITH A CORPSE

If you have a family member and you really care about him/her, I would definitely not recommend this place. There is absolutely no empathy in this place. It is very disappointing when you think your loved one is receiving the care he deserves and you find out different. My brother was sent there for rehabilitation due to months of being bedridden while recuperating from a Pulmonary Embolism. Once he started to walk they did not want him there any longer. They waited until I left out of town to send him to the hospital on his birthday. I sent my brother Donuts with coffee and balloons that morning. They sent him to the hospital with his balloons. Supposedly, he was sick. Why would you send him with balloons to the hospital? When I spoke to the nurse In the ER, she mentioned She was not sure why he was sent to the hospital. She mentioned he was calm. They sent him to the hospital two consecutive months around the same time of the month. I have to agree this place has gone downhill. It smells and I decided to leave his belongings behind due to the smell. Last but not least the food is terrible. I spent lots of money on Uber Eats. Trust me when I tell you, it is not a good place for a loved one.
