Everything was good but when I first got there. They don't have an onsite pharmacy so they have to order your medicine which is in Baltimore. I went without pain meds overnight until the next day and it was tough. Other than that everything was great. The food is cooked in a kitchen on site. The food is delicious. You get a menu to choose from what you want to eat for all three meals. They also have an alternative menu to choose from if you don't like what is on the menu. The facility is clean and well maintained. The nurses and aides are kind and friendly. The PT room is nice and the therapists are well knowledgeable and kind. If you need a relaxing place to go for rehab then I'd highly recommend Brooke Grove.

My personal care was amazing, amplified, by compassion, courtesy, knowledge, respect, and I am personally thanking Mrs Paula Harding in my rehabilitation at Brook Grove. she coordinated with the other nursing staff between shifts to make my transition from daytime to evening. She graciously helped me with visitors that were coming to see me. She went over and beyond in trying to help me obtain my goals. I am deeply deeply thankful to Paula Harding. I had a good stay at Brooke Grove for rehab after hip replacement. Appreciated the thoroughness and care of Dr. Simmons. Pt and Ot staff were challenging in a good way — thanks to Twinkle, Erik and Melissa. I came using a walker and left a week later barely needing a cane. Many thanks to the nurses and techs, especially Paula. Nice room and view. Food was imaginative, hit or miss, generally good.

The staff is amazing! They are caring professionals and warm to all the patients. I like the rooms, you almost feel that your room is private. The PT and OT staff are friendly and creative; made the therapy lots of fun. The food is better than most other rehab centers. I would definitely recommend Brooke Grove. Najien, Zay, Mary, Miriam, Nate, Melissa, Aaron, Daniel, Gail, Miss Barbara were all excellent staff members. I am probably missing out on some names. Sorry

I have been at Brooke Grove three times in the past two years. It is an attractive facility with spacious rooms, an impressive gym, and a caring, responsive staff During my most recent stay, there were a number of staff members deserving of special recognition for their skills, compassion, and overall dedication to patient care, comfort, and belonging. Kudos to nurses Mattie and Ethel, aides Rod and Stephanie, and therapists Melissa,Aaron, and Bailey. There are two items that prevented me from giving a 5 star review. First of all, is understaffing and overworking of nurses and aides. It’s unreasonable to have them responsible for 11 patients on a shift. And secondly, the food, except for breakfast, is mediocre at its best ( a hot dog as the main course for dinner??). In summary, my experiences have been mostly positive, and I would not hesitate to recommend Brooke Grove’s Rehab Center.
