Very accommodating, worked with us to fit the needs my mother required. Also were willing to cater to special requests, which in my mother’s case was having her dog with her. Kelley was especially helpful, attentive, and caring

My father lived the last 2 years of his life at Brookdale Wilton. He absolutely loved it there. The staff, aids, nurses took such good care of him and had a positive impact in his life. It was a warm, welcoming second home for him that I would highly recommend for anyone’s family member.

Of all of my experiences in working in Senior Healthcare over the past several years, specializing in Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Private Duty Care, Brookdale Wilton, and the incredible leadership by Chris Caron, along with his dedicated team of directors, continues to make ALL the difference in the dignified care, engagement and individual support I’ve come to know and recommend to my very own clients. Pricing is very reasonable, however what’s most evident is, the attention to even the smallest of details to most important, the residents are cherished at Brookdale Wilton, and their highest priority! The Culinary Director insists on prompt delivery of hot and delicious meals offering robust choices! Each and every time I’ve been to this special community, I’m always greeted with warmth, an introduction, and such kindness by all the staff, it’s incredible! I’ve had the pleasure of observing first hand, residents laughing together, engaging in sophisticated activities, and sharing in real fellowship! The recreation team is always present, with all hands on deck, providing cognitively challenging, interesting and fun activities. I’ve heard one resident recently tell her daughter, she’d have to call her back because she was off to her Yoga class! It’s so fulfilling to watch, from the initial transition upon moving in, to that level of participation! It makes all the hard work and dedication so worthwhile!
The community itself feels like-home. Starting from the exterior of the property to walking in, there is a warmth, and a comfort in the atmosphere, and doesn’t AT ALL feel like I’m standing in a sterile lobby of a corporately run hotel.
The nursing staff is so kind, attentive to some very difficult levels of care, and the caregivers are attentive and mindful to the fact, this space belongs to their resident’s, that it’s their home.
What is paramount however, to all of the services and amenities offered at Brookdale Wilton, is their renowned Memory Care program. One size does NOT fit most, when it comes to cognitive impairment, and the individualized Care Plans are a reality, not wishful hoping. “Crossings “ for earlier stages of cognitive dissonance, provides the right amount of dignified oversight and shepherding, to ensure comfort and emotional security to the residents with discrete safety checks in place. For more advanced care needs, the secure neighborhood of “Solace” is quaint, smaller and has the capacity to provide just 19 individuals with the proper amount of support for their physical, emotional and social needs. Brookdale Wilton focuses on quality of care, rather than a high volume memory care census. The ratio of caregiver to resident is impressive, sparing no expense for the safety and well-being of each resident!
This is a premiere community of my choice when referring anyone who would be far better be served in a vibrant and social setting. The community is super clean, light, bright and despite whatever challenges a resident may be facing, whether a chronic or painful issue or perhaps coming from an isolated existence, Brookdale Wilton has the ability to bring joy, purpose and smiles back to the folks with whom they are entrusted. Ive seen on many occasion's, real fellowship, which allows residents to focus less on themselves or their issue but rather, being part of a community who truly cares! All the attention to details mentioned, the ability to form real friendships, and the top notch and expertly run memory care programs, are the reasons why, I refer my clients, and their family members to Brookdale at Wilton. By far, it is the best senior living community in Fairfield County! I encourage you to visit and see for yourself! Give your loved one the chance to have meaning back to their lives! With gratitude, Jen

Honestly a wonderful place. The staff are super kind and really take the time to get to know the residents, which makes the whole community feel warm and welcoming. It’s clean, cozy, and has plenty of comfortable spaces to relax or spend time with others. Residents always seem engaged, with lots of activities and good food. What I appreciate most is how personal and caring the team is—they treat everyone with genuine respect and keep families updated.

My husband has been at this place for a few months now, and already the nurse locks up his meds and then forget to give my husband his high blood pressure medicine amongst other medications and my husband has already been to the hospital since he has been living at Brookdale. Nobody comes to help my husband put his socks on Brookdale will tell you that they’re fully staffed and my husband has Cerebral Palsy and this is how he is being treated while living at Brookdale. I have asked hat my husband medication stay unlocked and they still lock up my husband medication and wonder why your family pass seat or is hospitalized it’s because Brookdale staff don’t give out the medications on time or not at all. Think twice about sending your loved ones to this place, because your family will not get the proper care that they need at all. The weekends is even worst when it’s no supervision the staff is worst nobody works or pass out meds or checks on patients at all. I have seen patients yelling for help because the staff will not answer the call button. My husband sat in the bathroom in poop for over twenty minutes I had to call downstairs to have them send someone to help my husband. It’s assisted living but nobody to assist your love ones when they’re in need.
