The staff are friendly and dependable and the place itself is clean. The tree lined center of the facility provides a nice atmosphere for the residents. And the monthly payments are extremely reasonable for assisted living. Overall a wonderful place for your loved ones who require a bit of help. Thanks to all the staff.

We want to thank Terri at Brookdale New Port Richey for taking the time to help us navigate a difficult transition for our sister and brother-in-law from their single family home into assisted living. We have visited multiple facilities, and even though Brookdale does not offer a larger two-bedroom, Terri was super knowledgeable regarding options in the area. She took the time to listen to our needs and advise us. But for her, we might have made the wrong choice. Brookdale is obviously a caring environment, with experienced, helpful staff. Thanks again, Terri.

Although we have not decided on an Assisted Living Facility, Terri has been amazing going above and beyond to provide information about all the aspects of the care needed while explaining what is best for our family. Thank you so much for Terri!

We have visited a number of facilities and still do check to see what is available. For the price at Brookdale, it is affordable, the staff is very friendly, management is around and seen visiting with residents during meal times. Brookdale has some personal services on site. They have transportation to a few places like Walmart. They have a full calendar of activities including Happy Hours to try and get people out of their rooms to be engaged with other residents. Not all seniors planned for this type of living situation when they were younger. Therefore many have a limited fixed income that they have to work with. We are pleased with the decision to have one parent reside here and are currently trying to get another parent moved in as well.

My mother was on Hospice at this facility. I was trying to transfer her out, but with the Corona virus things were a mess. There are too many things wrong to even post here. #1 is she was in PAIN with massive cancer throughout her body and Brookdale kept messing up her pain medications. Meaning she's wasn't getting her scheduled pain medications for several different reasons. I had been told they ran out, and did not notify hospice or pharmacy. They have an LVN: Dana who discontinued medications of her own accord (no order, no authority to do so) and therefore my mother did not get her pain medications. There's more, but I will not go on. I had a complaint in with the state of Florida. UPDATE: State went in and found many things. Please beware, for the sake of your loved one. :(
