Compassionate, involved care that exceeded our expectations. Everyone from receptionist to medical staff, billing, ED, recreation, service and laundry were always professional and caring! A few hiccups understanding the bill initially but patient staff helped us to know what we were paying for. Recommendations for hospice organizer was spot on and very communicative. Highly recommend as staff works hard and even if understaffed, very caring and supportive to our loved one and our family!

My father has been residing in the Clare Bridge Memory Care center at Brookdale Folsom for the past 16 months. We visit dad frequently at different times of the day and have always been impressed by the outstanding care that he receives. The staff are so kind, patient and respectful with residents. You can see that they enjoy their jobs and work together well. Only having around 24 residents, it really has a family feel. They work hard to keep everyone engaged and active. The facility is always calm, clean and has never smelled of urine when we visit. Brookdale provides so much more than we would be able to if dad was still at home. We love the friendly staff and they love dad. We are at peace that we made the right decision in bringing dad to Brookdale.

I have nothing but good things to say about Brookdale Folsom. I moved my dad into Clare Bridge (memory care side of Brookdale Folsom) back in August of 2024, and it has been such a great experience. My dad has an extensive background serving in the U.S. Army, including many years as a drill sergeant; telling him what to do does not go over well, so he needs a specific approach. Brookdale Folsom is all about tailoring an approach that works for each individual resident. Prior to Brookdale, my dad lived at a different memory care community and it was an awful, stressful experience. I had to make multiple unannounced visits each week to make sure he was being treated with dignity and respect. At Brookdale, my dad is treated with dignity and respect, and I am always reassured that he is well taken care of. I noticed a considerable difference in his overall happiness once I moved him to this community. What a difference it has made! Shari, the executive director, is always available and receptive for any questions or concerns. She truly cares about the Brookdale community and its residents and employees. The addition of Carrie, the Clare Bridge activities director, has also made such a huge improvement to the community. Carrie has made such a huge breakthrough with my dad (not an easy thing to do) and they have such a good rapport with each other. She has been able to get my dad involved with more activities which is something other activity directors have never been able to accomplish. Lastly, the caregivers are amazing! They work hard, regardless of what obstacles they encounter. The previous community that my dad lived at always had a high turnover of caregivers which, in memory care, makes it VERY difficult for the residents to have to get acclimated to new caregivers all the time. Since moving into Brookdale Folsom eight months ago, all the same caregivers are still there, with the exception of a couple of new hires. That, alone, speaks volumes. If you're looking for a trustworthy place to move your loved one to, this is hands down one of the best in the area. My dad is so happy and well taken care of, and that makes me happy too!

I moved my father into Brookdale Folsom a little over one month ago and absolutely love Brookdale Folsom and so does my father! The people that work here are absolutely the best employees I have ever met in my whole entire life! Kimberly the sales manager was absolutely the most pleasant, cheerful, intelligent and caring sales person who genuinely cared about placing my father in the best possible facility with the best care! The rest of the staff that works there are truly extremely loving and caring people, from the kind caring cheerful nurses, sweet happy caregivers, the welcoming friendly smiling receptionists, friendly and concerned managers, smiling happy wait staff, cheerful fun loving bus driver and anyone else I didn’t mention. Their service is wonderful and the food is delicious! God blessed me so much, more than you will ever know, by introducing me to Brookdale Folsom! 😇

We are very happy with accommodations at Brookdale. The staff is amazing and treats our mom and us like family. They address issues we may have promptly. The place is clean and well maintained.
