My mother is there and though it is pricey, there is plenty of Sunshine, outdoor areas for excercise, friendly kind people, great food, fun events and knowledgable medical professionals. It is far superier to the last place she was at.

My mom's stay at Cogir was wonderful. My mom went to Cogir in Oct 2025. The staff took amazing care of my mom and we are forever grateful. Unfortunately my mom needed more one on one care so we had to move to a small board and care home. The director Liz is incredible and her compassion for her residents is unmatched. The staff understood my mom's needs and were always willing to go that extra mile. We actually cried when we had to move my mom out it was truly a great place. There were so many amazing staff members too many to count. It's such a hard decision to place your love one in a home. My sisters and I struggled so much. Once we moved my mom to Cogir we knew it was the best decision. They treat the residents with compassion and dignity. Look no further talk to Liz.

My friend was there until she passed last June. She loved it there. Many fun activities, the food was fabulous, it looks like a resort. The staff and everyone was very friendly.

The staff ; the caregivers, nurses, receptionists, maintenance and upper management have all been wonderful. I wish I could name them all in person! They were all so kind and caring with my mother, who stayed here for 7 months before passing. Even when she was "ornery" they had a smile on their faces and love in their voices. The rooms and the common areas were always clean. The cafeteria was very accommodating with their meals. My mother especially enjoyed the outdoor areas which were beautifully maintained, spacious and accessible. The residents seemed happy and were often engaged in fun activities. I highly recommend this facility!

In just the last six weeks, it’s been incredibly disheartening to witness the significant changes within this community for my aunt and others — once vibrant with resident car shows, volleyball games, and truly engaged staff. The recent and sudden departures of several key team members raise serious concerns about the level of support provided by Cogir’s corporate office. A dedicated director who went above and beyond, even while recovering from major surgery, is no longer with the community. A valued nurse has not returned from maternity leave, the lead med tech and several compassionate care staff are gone, and they’ve increasingly been replaced by agency personnel unfamiliar with the residents. Now, the activity director is no longer there, and the sales manager has also made the decision to leave. This sharp decline in continuity and morale affects both staff and residents. It’s troubling to see such a vibrant and thriving community take a sudden downturn. These changes prompt a larger question: What kind of support and stability is Cogir offering to its employees, and by extension, to the residents who call this place home? The residents and remaining staff deserve better. I hope corporate leadership takes a serious look at what’s happening on the ground — before more of what once made this community so special is lost.
