My mom lived a Brookdale in Auburn California for about a year and a half.Until her health failed she was very happy there. She had friends and enjoyed activities and outings. When her dementia and other physical ailments became more severe the staff stepped right up and continued to care for her with kindness and grace. They worked well with the Hospice staff and were always available to me if I had questions or concerns. This made me feel very confident that mom was getting everything she needed, particularly because I live quite far away and couldn’t be there as often as I would have liked. I cannot say enough good things about them, particularly Malissa, Christy and Erica. Every staff member was kind and friendly towards my mom and our family. I would not hesitate to recommend Brookdale to people.

Honestly, I would be scared to send my family member here they do treat the elderly people horrible except for the days the family’s visit they leave them in theiw own excrament. The place is also horribly shortstaffed. They do not pay the people well enough for the work that is needed to be done. The current manager Melissa is also very high strung. She does not want to foster a sense of community. And only cares about how the place looks on the outside .They have a high turnover rate because a lot of of the people working in the adminstrative office Do not treat people with the respect they deserve. Please send your loved ones to a better facility or keep them at home their treatment that they would get there is not what I would wish upon anybody.

Brookdale Senior Living is such a wonderful place. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how warm and welcoming the environment is. The community itself is well cared for, comfortable, and truly feels like a place where residents are valued and supported. Chris is absolutely awesome and really makes Brookdale stand out. She is incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming, and she goes out of her way to make everyone feel at home. Her genuine care and positive attitude make a huge difference, and it’s clear she truly loves what she does. I highly recommend Brookdale Senior Living to anyone looking for a community that feels caring, friendly, and supportive.

My mom has been a resident at Brookdale Auburn for four months. She was reluctant to leave her home, afraid of change & not being in control. Each day she acclimates more & more. The staff goes out of their way to make her feel safe, cared for, & a priority. The community is well managed & staff is extremely responsive. I love the positive & cheerful attitudes of all staff members. They get to know the residents & families personally & adjust care accordingly. Each day they have a broad range of activities that offer social interactions & mental stimulation. I’m so relieved we made this move. Thank you, Brookdale, for the respectful & compassionate care you provide my mom.
