Brookdale was a blessing for our Mom who had progressed past independent and assisted living and needed constant attention as her dementia progressed rapidly. The facility was ideal for Mom - she loved walking about, seeing and visiting with other residents and staff! After a fall she regressed significantly, but the staff were caring, supportive, and ensured Mom was always comfortable. The Brookdale staff also worked very well with our hospice provider (Superior) and together they ensured Mom was comfortable to the end. My siblings and I can't thank Brookdale enough for their help during Mom's final months.

Great place for a loved one with dementia. The staff is very loving and caring, they treat the residents like family. Would highly recommend.

Brookdale Eagan is completely different than other nursing homes my mother has been in. My mother is happy and well cared for which is a great relief for me. The staff knows her well and reaches out to me if there are any issues.

This place is expensive and doesn't provide all the services they charge for. Pricing is "al-la-cart" meaning they charge for everything. There were many caring staff, but the Health and Wellness Director, Michelle Allen uses bullying when you have concerns. She routinely threatened to raise the price when we had concerns, and she blamed inappropriate treatment on the victim's dementia. Perhaps she is on commission, but her focus was on extracting as much money from our family as possible. When she began to fight against hospice care and insisted on changing doctor's orders to suit herself, we moved my dying father to a different facility. It was a horrible experience to deal with when you're dealing with a dying family member. I cannot recommend this place. Keep looking.
