Zero star. I had recently filled out an application, was giving an interview day and time, upon arrival Brooklyn was very rude and had a mean girl disposition, she informed me that I had been employed before, I stated yes, at the time you didn't have work, She very snotty replies, yes we did, you were with another company, I'm 45yr, I'm not going to argue about something not factual, but they did not have work with my availability at that time. I have a preferred schedule as I help raise my grandchild, my daughter due to lack of employees, works as a manager 60 plus hours weekly, family should help family. Then she very snarky says, she's doesn't know if I'm hirable? she needs to reach out HR, but unfortunately she can't until Tuesday, as she's very busy and she wouldn't get an answer until Wednesday/Thursday , Now let me say my interview was on Monday. Now I had a good standing with Ann Arbor office, never technically worked for Novi, so there shouldn't be any bad blood, I showed up to my shifts, I was never late, when I left I gave a two week notice and everything went smoothly and well, the only reason I left, I was put in nursing home type situation and I'm more of Homecare, one on one, but Ann Arbor didn't have anything with their Homecare at that time. Also anyone in Homecare field knows when it's good, it's great, but there are times you are juggling two or three different companies to manage staying afloat in life, especially with inflation so high. I will say at the orientation with the Novi company, something very unprofessional was disclosed that made me second actually being an employee with Brightstar of Novi, it was very disturbing, now this couple years later. Now the thing that gets me is I reached out, I was told I'm definitely HIRABLE, also the information is on her computer and it would of taken several short minutes to actually confirm, not to mention her job was to pay attention to that before I even came into the office, Which Brooklyn did admit to me she didn't do her job there. So at this point she discriminated against me for her own personal reasons, it's also considered work place bullying, which is not tolerated by any company, I'm unclear to why her behavior is mean girl behavior, as I don't actually even know her, her vindictive game started as soon as she saw my application, I'm unclear to actually why? I hope management will see this and please reach out, as I definitely think this should be investigated, how many other is she doing this to with no resolution? She shouldn't be allowed to lie to people about HR availability to not answer her, or to base employment off of her own personal judgement. I will definitely only stick with Ann Arbor, I've never had a bad experience with that office. Sincerely: Brandi

BrightStar was just what our family needed. From the initial phone call to designing the best care for our mom, the staff was beyond helpful. Mom was happy with how she was treated by the caregivers, and always felt safe and important.

Brightstar provided outstanding care for my father. They were always prompt and respectful and flexible. But most of all they provided care and comfort that both my dad and I could count on. Particularly Freda and Maurice with their nightly assistance made my dad rest easy and have the assistance he needed. They both allowed my dad to continue in his apartment and not to need a nursing home-- he maintained dignity and independence with their thoughtful support.

BrightStar provided 24 hour care for my Aunt for the last 18 months. The office staff was very professional and always worked for me, the customer. Michelle did everything she could to accommodate my requests, even when it required extra work to do so. The aides all cared a great deal for my Aunt to the extent that when her health deteriorated, on their days off, a couple of them would text me to see how she was doing. They were always on time and provided services that they were asked to do. In addition to Michelle, I would like to give special thanks to Danielle, Carmen, Marque, Rose, Deena, Teresa, Kali, Cheryl and Marquita. Thank you to everyone on the BrightStar of Novi team. It was a wonderful experience working with you! Nancy Chandler

BrightStar Care is great. I can't thank them enough. My mother would not move to an assisted living center. The Bright Star nurses visit my parents at their home in Livonia and take care of so much. They show up on time, do many little things, help with pills and medication, light housekeeping and keep my parents safe. Mom and Dad look forward to Julie's visits it's like we have a new family member. Thanks BrightStar !!! Sue McDermott Farmington, MI
