This is one of the better care facilities in town. I've had family members in several facilities around Sacramento/Roseville and this has been the best in terms of caring staff, quality of care, food, building quality and amenities. The admin staff Bobby and Jordan care about the patients. The social worker Kendra is responsive, thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable about programs that can help your loved one. Brooke in the business office is easy to work with and knowledgeable about Medicare, insurance etc. Vivian in Physical Therapy helped my dad improve over a reasonable time with compassion and patience. The nursing staff made a personal connection with my dad and took good care of him even though he can be demanding and difficult. When visiting, my dad would share food with me and I have to say it is very good for the institutional setting. Food was well prepared and properly seasoned. The facility is well maintained but it it isn't the Four Seasons. It is cleaner and more updated than all the others in its class that are approved by Medicare. No place is perfect but I feel like Bridgewood makes a solid effort to be the best. Kudos to the staff.

The staff are always friendly. They are taking good care of my sister.

This place is horrible. Go check it out first. The staff was not attentive. My dad would be asking for help and they would ignore him. I could clearly hear the nurses near him and they would not answer him. They discharged my dad without a bed or any equipment that was scheduled for his new place. They finally came two days later. They were constantly washing his phone in the sheets. We were buying at least 2 phones a month. They were aware that this was happening but it continued. They only said they could reimburse us for one phone. He was dropped off without all of his belongings with only the wet diaper and clothes. He had a couple pieces of clothing. We went because of a 5 star. That was a lie. Beware and check before leaving your love ones. There are 2-3 that I can say was truly caring. The nurse and CNAs are a no. My dad asked to get back in the bed because he was tired, he was told no you can do it yourself I am not helping you. I reported this but no one addressed it

It stunk like urine and disinfectant. It was difficult to be seen by the one doctor, who I was told was the only one who could release me. The shower was broken for the first week I was there and has no grab bars. The CNA's were caring. Our women's room shared a bathroom with a men's bedroom, and I had to clean it every time I wanted to use it. They lost my personal medicine. They didn't give me a release date until I threatened to call the ombudsman. The director of nursing did not return my family's calls. The dietitian worked with me because the food made me vomit. Physical therapy was pretty good. The activities director was great.
