I am quiet pissed at this location my stepfather has been here for a bit now and I will agree he is a handful but I came up there a few times I have even called a few times got any info I needed here is my problem this facility is the worst, I call up there and now I can’t get any information on my stepfather at all she tells me I need to call him I explain that I can’t get ahold of him that’s why I am calling you.! The lady says well I don’t know what to tell you he is his own power of attorney I said ok so you can’t even tell me if he is still there I’m his ride I’m his daughter / step daughter no I’m sorry well I’m sorry but this facility is in for a rude awakening because my dad also is missing a shirt that was sent to be laundered and it had 400$ in two 50$ bills and the rest were twenties now to steal from a man that literally just had his wife (my mother pass away) that’s pretty low this person trusted this place to take care of him and look what happens ? Are you joking me? I will be doing something about this I will not tolerate being spoken to and I’ve seen the way these people have treated the residents one lady was literally pissing all over herself by the bird sanctuary hollering for help no one there like is anyone going to do anything about this? Or do these people get treated like this on a day to day basis?

I have been coming to Bria, Woodriver for more than two years. In the last week, I am astonished at the strong urine smell when I walk through the front door the floors are not very clean. The bathrooms are in poor shape. I’m beginning to wonder if there’s a cleaning crew that is working at all. I find it disconcerting that a facility that takes care of patients could be let go to this degree. There is no hand sanitizer in the dispensers on the wall, and the bathrooms are devoid of soap in the dispensers. I’m also alarmed at the staff patient ratio. Many times I see the patients lights are on only to be left sometimes for hours before they responded to, It is alarming.

This is one of worst nursing homes I have ever been in my entire life my grandma is in there and she's treated so poorly it's unbelievable. She is constantly having her items and clothes stolen her bedding is always filthy and receives poor nursing when is hurt or ill. Very seldom gets her three meals a day and I feel the place should be shut down due to elderly abuse and neglect. It doesn't even deserve the one star that I had to give it in order for it to allow me to post my comment

Update, after finally figuring out what was wrong with my husband, he has gotten excellent care from the whole staff. Very pleased with this place. Looking for a different place for my family member. Staff is very rude, they just sit in the hallway and don't check on the patients. They even talk about the patient and family members when people are walking down the hallway. Overhead them talking about me as I was leaving today. Not very professional people. My family member has fallen out of bed,so that proves that they don't check on the patients. IT BEST NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.

I moved my Beautiful Wife Beth to Bria of Wood River on December 8th 2023 and they have been absolutely amazing from top to bottom since day one. Everyone here has been really good with my wife and they take good care of her to. They're in the process of remodeling the entire building and they keep it clean to. My wife is happier now than she's ever been before and they have made us feel like we are one big family. The nursing staff is phenomenal and are very attentive to the residents needs. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is in need of a good place like this... 😃 Charlie & Beth Morton
