My immobile husband was here for 2 months and it was the best of the three nursing homes/skilled nursing facilities that we had been to in the Houston area.in the last 8 monhts. The food was excellent, facility super clean, Rehab therapists excellent and overall care good.<br>We did have some challenges with my husband's demanding care at first but overtime we worked it our with the caring Director of Nursing Annie and amazing new Executive Director Michael. There were so many positives at Brazo Towers that I recommend it. The care of a stroke patient such as my husband is very difficult and necessitates a very active family advocate all the time. We were very disappointed in the lack of patient activities. Although a vigorous monthly calendar was posted very little activities occurred during my husband's stay. When we were leaving we saw indication regarding possible improvement in that area as well.
